“We were greeted by Emma when we entered the store, very friendly. She advised us to use a machine to scan how we laid in bed and detemined the right mattress for me and my partner, (apologise, I can't remember the name of the machine). Emma went through all the different options of mattresses to choose from that met our budget. I was impressed with her knowledge when it came to find the best suit for us. Once we agreed on the one we wanted, she made us feel even more comfortable by making the finance process quick and easy and even got me and my partner a coffee whilst we went through it all. I have to say, quick, easy and to a high standard.

“We chose Kitchen Culture to design, supply & fit our new Kitchen. Mitch designed our Kitchen, he knew what I wanted before I even knew I needed it, He’s thought of absolutely everything! Before the installation Iian, Dave & Steve carried out the Plastering, Electrics and Plumbing. All lovely guys, they had so much respect for our home and left it very clean and tidy at the end of each day. Chris & Steve fitted our Kitchen, again wonderful guys. The attention to detail in their work is incredible. Again everything was left clean and tidy every single day. Matt & Tracey were on hand throughout the build and often popped in to check we were happy with everything. Overall I am over the moon with our new kitchen and super happy we chose Kitchen Culture. We have since had our home office designed by Mitch for them to complete next Month. Do not hesitate if you are thinking of using this company. They are the BEST and I cannot thank them enough.”

“Please use this store, they are excellent!!As a non tradesperson I was a little nervous about using this company and almost headed to B & Q as usual, however my fears were ucompletely unfounded.Tom, John and Paul were superb, made me feel at ease and used their expertise to solve my plumbing issues. I'd actually brought my new sink in to explain what I needed to do.They assisted me brilliantly and I cannot recommend them enough.The parts that I didn't need I was able to return without argument for a full refund.Also the prices were significantly less than B & Q.”

“First thing you see is the logo as the front. It draws your attention, almost like saying come over and have a look. Small area but they have made the most the situation they have at hand. They have elegant designs, they are so good that even if you had recently redone your kitchen you might just be tempted to have them instead of the other company you might have chosen. Simple and effective design of the floor plans and good usage of the colours and lighting, in order to highlight key areas and for people to over look any areas before buying.”

“These guys are the best. I had problems with my shower heating valve and they would not rest until they found me the right replacement valve and then when that wasn't suitable they sourced a shower cartridge. I fitted it and so happy to have my hot shower back and working. Even if you're not a plumbing expert they don't treat you as if you dont know anything and I certainly wouldn't go anywhere else. Totally recommend them ?”

“What service, help and advice i have just had from the team at Gillingham. As a DIYer Cameron and Kelvin went above and beyond to help me with a real problem i had. Although nothing they could supply me would fix my ageing heating system, they managed to get me a DIY solution. As yet everything is OK and just grateful for Drakes staff helping me out, where plumbers and installers etc, wouldn’t spare the time to assist.Thanks D”

“Purchased a boiler on Friday to find a faulty part with a new boiler, upon ringing Chris during his weekend he was more than happy to help and get a part from his shop for me even though the branch was closed, I cannot fault this service at all , can’t rate highly enough”

“I just love this charity shop. It has so many lovely tiems in there, the back of the shop has shelves full of items like gifts that people didnt want and you can find lots of lovely bargains. There are usually some nice childrens clothes and the ladies clothes are well laid out with lots of different sizes so something for everyone.”

“Shopping at B&Q Gillingham can feel like an Orienteering trek…
I say this as, when you walk into the store, whatever happens from now, you have to walk a long way to the other end of the store to exit. It’s a pain if what you need isn’t there, not allowing you to leave at the end you entered.
Plus side - It’s a huge store, with so, so many items.
Huge Car Park.
Helpful staff, dotted around the store in various sections.
Loads of room to move around the store to shop.
Queues at the tills aren’t normally very long.
Get some people to sponsor you, before you set off walking and earn some money…

Great product choices and reasonable prices.

“I've not used Toolstation Gillingham before but they had fence paint at a good price. Also needed a brass outside tap connector for a new hose pipe I'd purchased. A very helpful and polite guy, Blaine, served me & told me I could return the fitting if it didn''t fit. Unplanned extra purchases were work gloves & marker pens, for my son & a pump sprayer needed for the roof Plus Blaine carried the paint to my car. Great customer service. I recommend this store.”
