“My son and I love Canterbury Waterstones. Spread over three floors, it has a relaxing atmosphere with a cafe on the 2nd floor and a cosy nook with a playable chess set on the 3rd. There is an elevator so it's accessible to all. The staff in the children's department are always really friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. It also hosts fantastic author events which are really worth a visit. The wall signed by famous authors is a lot of fun too.”

“Think the opening hours advertised have changed; we got here at 5 the other day and it was already closed. Still, remember it having a great selection when I was a regular.”

“A handy shop with good prices for people interested in arts and crafts. Wide range of artistic materials on sale. Helpful, friendly assistants. Top range art materials not very evident such as sable brushes, Winsor and Newton professional watercolours or masking fluid. The odd gem is there to be found though. Good value and good service. Shop policies also customer friendly if you need to return or exchange. If you like arts and crafts well worth a visit or two”

“Unfortunately the queues are horrendous so I do my own via self service including special delivery if need be.The staff are over worked and I preferred the original Post Office when owned by the Crown Post Office in what is now Prezzo and then which moved to what is now Sainsbury Local next door in Canterbury's High Street / St Peter's Street. All the crown offices have shut and moved in to WH Smith and the service is variable I have to say. The good one's are in WWC Tesco store and Coop Deal and Payden's in Deal.”
