The Godfather offers decent seaside fish and chips. The cod was lovely and fresh with a light batter which tasted great, the chips were good. Last day of a week on the Isle of Wight and we needed fish and chips.
The Codfather certainly delivered!
What struck me most was just how friendly all of the young staff were. You don't often get that in takeaways, but these ladies were all very chatty and smiley.
Loved this place ❤️ staff were amazing ? friendly banter from the moment I walked in (was wearing a Leicester city top) everything was cooked fresh so piping hot ? you can eat in but we took our chips and sat on the beach (just a short drive) and the chips we're great (not greasy) and the fish was amazing (lovely batter)
