“Huge store squeezed onto Newport High Street. This was originally BHS and should have some kind of plaque to say it was the site of the first escalators on the Isle Of Wight (Mid 90s so not very historic). The store looks a bit tired and worn out but stocks everything you would ever need. Food, soft furnishing, lighting, bedding. There is a lift at the back of the store. It has two entrances at the front and back. Tills at each side. The staff are friendly and they do try and get staff on tills when queues build up. Its wheelchair accessible and sometimes a bit tricky to get round because of stock displayed on the floor but not too bad. Always worth a visit to see what they have.”
