This is an excellent place to get a filling lunch! We had; an all day breakfast, a steak and ale pie, a mince beef and onion pie and a battered cod and chips. They did not disappoint. Great little country pub serving straightforward pub fare at very reasonable prices. The daily specials are particularly interesting. The food is better than the average boil in a bag you find in some chain pubs. Very helpful friendly staff.

This is a very nice, comfortable place with good, well presented food. The Sunday roast is a treat. As well as eating areas, there is a comfortable area for those that just want a few drinks without the food. There is an outside area for fine weather. Additional precautions include table ordering, tables, menu's and condiments sanitized between each customer use. Some staff may wear mask. Take out service available for collection of delivery to surrounding villages. Small local shop offering the basics. Closed on Mondays (except for Bank Holidays)
