Awful service. Just wanted to put some coins and notes into my account, said they have to be sorted into coin bags, which is fair enough (even though hoddesdon branch didnt have that rule when i last went in there).But then to be told to stand aside to sort out my coins like a lemon and join the back of the queue waiting another 20 minutes serving one couple the whole time and still had 4 more people in front!Ended up walking out as god knows how much longer i would have been waiting. You would think barclays would have the funds to hire some extra staff or something!!

I would just like to say that my recent experience in the Waltham Cross branch was extremely good. Firstly a lady called Lynne who was assisting customers was beyond helpful and very kind to each customer. Very polite and very busy.We had a meeting with Julie who was equally helpful efficient and so considerate to my older mum. Thank you ladies

I was kept waiting for a long time, while a customer emptied her coins out to be weighted.The cashier, although pleasant, should have asked the customer to stand aside while she served me.Then the receptionist, who was helping out on the shop floor, served the the customer, who was standing behind me first. All I needed was to change an old note.I thought that was very unfair. A bit of racism I thought.

This branch is a joke. You got appointment time. There was no staff member at the front desk and every staff member just blank this is the biggest joke this branch I only needed to get my card unblocked because you online call team told me to go into one your branches am I local Wandsworth from Cross and it's absolutely a joke hopefully this branch get closed down and everyone get transferred to Enfield

The worst bank in UK , very bad that lady at new accounts, I went there on 20th of Jan we had appointment at 10-30 & she called us 11-15 and didn?t gave to us an account, she wanted a translator to be Barclays account holder, first time I hear about this ridicules, I don?t know why they hire that kind of unprofessional people there.

Hopeless customer service. Arrived at 3pm to exchange old currency. All staff hiding in little glass sided rooms. Joined the queue under sign for customer services as only machines were in use. After 5 mins the guy in front started to wave his arms to attract attention. After 10 mins it was my turn and told can't be done as counter service closed at 2.30pm. "Come back tomorrow". I can't I replied and saw a sign saying we're here to help you pay your bills which I pointed to and said I want to pay my bills please exchange my old notes. "Come back tomorrow" was the even firmer reply! I left feeling rather annoyed and let down. Fortunately I saw a NatWest branch opposite and walked in and was greeted straight away with a cheerful "how can we help you?" - I was stunned, the two banks are at opposite ends of the spectrum! My old notes exchanged for new without fuss. Well done Nat West!

Been to this branch (Waltham cross) a number of times ,never again!!! Staff are really unhelpful counter is never open machines never working , I needed to print out a statement but the machine was broke for the third time this week and asked if they could print one out behind the counter and was basically told to go out and buy a printer and do it myself at home after explaining that I was in a hotel with no access to a printer she abruptly said there?s nothing she can do and just walked away.

Shocking experience so far, the lady who came to speak to me gave me no help at all and said they didn?t have anyone to scan my paycheques. What?s the point in even being open if you can?t help with a basic task? I?ll be going to another Barclays in London from now on

I juts was at the bank today for a cashiers deposit and I was refused by the rude person, I don?t understand what they get on been rude and turned customer away.Can?t wait they close this brunch and see this rude stuff working in Asda ??

A few days ago I went to that awful bank. I think that the service and the qualification of the staff is a joke. The woman who was supposed to help the customer did not know completely how to give advice. In fact, I did not get any help. There is always a huge queue in this bank. Bank desks are closed and there is never service in them. Customer service very bad for Barclays Bank.

Horrible banking, barclays has lost its standards around customer care in branches, ques long and machines that seem to always have issues. Shorter working hours too. Banks use your money to get richer and treat customers worse.
