From Emmaus Hertfordshire (Community House & Hill End Shop)
Emmaus Hertfordshire is a charity which provides a home for as long as is needed, meaningful work opportunities, training and support for people who have experienced homelessness.
Our community house in St Albans is home to up to 39 formerly homeless people, known as companions. Our companions all work within our social enterprises, which include our charity shops in St Albans, Boxmoor and Tring, and our house clearance service.
The money generated through the sales of donated furniture, homeware, clothing and more in our shops and online goes straight back into supporting our companions to rebuild their lives after homelessness.
We can accept donations of furniture, homeware etc but restrictions apply. Please visit our website for info
