I?m extremely disappointed with this shop. The premises are filthy and cluttered, with packages left everywhere, posing serious health and safety concerns. It is particularly difficult for my blind mother to navigate the store, and it?s clear that little thought has been given to accessibility.
The English lady behind the counter is consistently rude and abrupt. She?s not helpful at all, which is especially concerning given that many of the customers I see in the store are elderly and often require extra support and kindness.
In addition, the prices are far too high for what?s on offer. Many of the items are out of date, and the overall quality of the products is poor. However, the most pressing issue is the state of cleanliness?it?s simply unacceptable. This store needs urgent attention and improvement across the board.

Really rude service from the staff. I was trying to use the self service machine which wasn't printing, and the lady that worked there started shouting at me from the other side of the shop. So unhelpful.

There's a Indian lady that works there.. Horrible service! She shouts at me because I'm trying to put doming back on the shelf! It was about to fall. This place deserves no stars! Awful shop!

It?s filthy,The shopping baskets are so dirty the fridges are not cleaned.Items are heavily over priced.The staff obviously don?t enjoy working there the lady in the morning is always moaning never greeted with hello.Overall a poor customer experience. Can?t wait for Tesco to re open shall give them my business or Morrisons over the road.

The 2 Asisn ladies that work evenings are quite rude and disrespectful. The Asian gentleman on the other hand is very professional and polite. The silver haired lady who works days is also polite and friendly.I really don't like going in at night due to the treatment I get, I will generally go to Morrisons and Tescos at night.Have a word!

This shop deserves zero stars after the customer service or lack of it, I should say! That my 77 year old father received yesterday after trying to return a parcel via their drop and collect service. My father is profoundly deaf, when approaching the counter a lady told him to use the self checkout system. My father pointed out that the self checkout was ?out of service? and asked if she would therefore scan the QR code and take the parcel. At which point the lady at the counter stated shouting hysterically, at my father while waving her arms around. Unfortunately as my father is deaf he was unable to hear what she was saying and to make matters worse she was wearing a face mask so my father was unable to lip read, which she refused to lower, dispite being a reasonable distance and given face marks are no longer required in stores. He politely asked her please can you stop shouting and talk slowly and clearly so that I may hear you. Which was sadly ignored and the ladies disgusting behaviour continued. My father returned home literally shaking after the encounter. Later that afternoon my father returned with my mother so that she was able to hear on his behalf. As soon as they walked in the same lady shouted at them ?you?ve come here to complain?, indicating that she was fully aware that her behaviour was unacceptable, to say the very least! My mother responded and attempted to explain that she had returned to simply determine what had gone on as her husband was unable to hear earlier. Instead of calmly taking the time to explain the lady just continued rudely shouting at them. When my mother asked to speak with the manager they lady claimed that she was the assistant managerUpon returning home my parents reported the ?assistant manager? to Budgens head office as they was that appalled by the encounter.Myself and my parents including a number of their neighbours will no longer return to this shop given the discrimination against the hard of hearing

Some products are a lot more expensive in here than in other food retailers. Store was well stocked and aisles were clear and tidy. My child?s pushchair made it around this store with no issues.Some staff members are very rude and miserable. Others are happy and easy to help.Wide range of products, international products as well. Nice in store bakery area.
