Problems queuing,often to the door and outside.Telephone never appears to be answered,which is appalling PR for this pharmacy.One recent morning,I tried ringing at least half a dozen times,but each time a voice told me everyone was too busy.I was there a few weeks ago,when the door to the pharmacy was locked at 12:40pm,when there were people trying to get in.I thought lunch was 13:00 to 14:00? I was an RN for over 30 years,and I appreciate that things get busy,because I had dealings with every pharmacy in Hereford,often under the most stressful circumstances,but the service has declined significantly,and surely the customer comes first?
I would like to add this part of my review.I have been greatly impressed by the improvements made in a relatively short time,since I wrote my first review above.The service is now superb,and the times I?ve been in,I have been attended to straight away,with no queuing to the door or the street.The staff I?ve met have been lovely and very efficient.The service is excellent,and receiving a text message to tell me my medications are ready is great.All in all,a highly recommended pharmacy.

Amazing pharmacy, filled with amazing staff and now they have their new system in place it is perfect. ( shame on SLT to not provide training for staff before rolling out new system) Also - I do believe that someone in the higher position and in the board - who ever implemented the sequence of roll out - I think you need training on implementing change effectively!
To the staff at this amazing pharmacy- thank you for :
1. Being patient and kind to all people ( no matter how rude they are to you)
2. Taking the time to get to know myself and my partner
3. Checking that his new Parkinson?s meds are on with him and phoning him up to check.
4. Chasing Hereford Medical Group when they have authorised meds but not forwarded the script in!
You are all my super heros - even though you don?t wear caps!!

Called pharmacy and told come down lady said pharmacy gone out told to wait for code for antibiotics for infected tonsilsitis. nothing came through on day one so went back in next day as phones not being answered.lady said nothing on system about me coming in day before but carry on waiting for code just incase .2 days still no antibiotics. So Went to hmg pharmacy antibiotics dispensed within 5 minutes

A huge thankyou to Hayley who went above and beyond yesterday to personally deliver my meds on her way home as they are having an temporary issue with their delivery service and she wanted to ensure I got my medication as I had run out.

Phone always says all lines busy, so many staff doing nothing, must be slowest pharmacy on earth. When it was Matthews it was great now it's just dire!!!!

Even though it clearly says the pharmacy is open on Saturday mornings this is not correct. Sign on door says it is closed. Please update your opening hours. Otherwise its fine.

Did not appreciate my medication being secondary dispensed from the hands of a counter staff member into a container. They should have been dispensed using a counter tray and not come in contact with uncovered hands that had not been washed!!

I have tried month on month to pick up medication for my mother from Day Lewis Pharmacy on Granstand Rd and I can quite honestly say they are one of the worst pharmacies in Hereford. They hardly ever fulfil the prescription requirement, tell you to go back on certain days and still don't have the items. Awful service, usually with a very long line of people waiting considering how many staff are working inside. Service very slow and not helpful. Finally gave up with them and sourced a pharmacy that knew how to get medication to the patients in a timely manner.

WITHOUT DOUBT THE STAFF ARE FANTASTIC, DURING COVID DESPITE EXTREME PRESSURE ON THEM THE SERVICE WAS FIRST CLASS, I CAN ONLY SAY THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE STAFF.

Helpful and generally friendly staff, good opening hours and I get a text to say when meds are ready. Only a small shop, patience required and expect to queue outside during Covid regulations. Noticed some staff not wearing face masks correctly.
