“I love this Santander branch! The staff are always smiley, welcoming and helpful. A joy! It makes doing financial transactions pleasurable.I live in an hour from Winchester, but hate my local Santander. Some of the staff are surly, rude and totally unhelpful. I'm not surprised that it is closing down shortly. So I have a direct comparison.When I go to this one even though this town is a lot bigger the queues are much smaller in this Santander perhaps they have sorted out the staffing levels here. Also it’s very clean inside”

“Very big branch set in a huge old Victorian building. Banking facilities are easy here. In and out within a few minutes with a 30 second queue for the cashier, speedy service on a Friday afternoon. This bank has more cashiers than other banks I've been to with a nice layout. Polite staff with an assistant just inside the entrance. The layout inside is also easy on the eye and the place was very clean inside so there is no covid 19 risk, the place was spotless. I would recommend dropping into this branch anytime.”

“Excellent service on the three most recent occasions I've been into the bank. I am actually an RBS customer but have found the level of service from the Nat West staff to be really great. So friendly and helpful and I didn't have to wait any time at all. Good stuff.”

“I have been a customer of this branch for many years. I have always found the staff to be polite and helpful. For example when I had to deal with my deceased mother’s estate, and more recently now that I am deaf - I am polite to them as they are to me.”

“Had a very good experience here, wanted to close an account and they were able to complete everything within an hour. I tried using their call center the day before, who were useless and said it would take 5 days to complete. Very much worth my time to come in and get it sorted, staff are very helpful and competent”
