I spent £40 on 8 x white general purpose silicon this morning (3/10/24) got to the job tried using it could only get about 1/3rd of it out of the tube I then looked at the tube. It was manufactured in February 2022. And it says should be used in 24 months. So it was 8 months out of date. Edited 8/10/24....

Ordered M6 threaded bar, went to pickup and it was M8 threaded bar. Girl behind the jump was adamant it was M6 because that's what the label said. I said no it's M8, wouldn't budge only customer there couldn't be bothered to sort it out, so it was just easier to go to B+Q instead.
