“An excellent generally well stocked convenience store in perfect position for local community. Regularly has a wide range of special offers. Helpful friendly staff. My only criticism is the limited range of pet food and treats, mostly expensive high end dog treats. Needs a larger range of budget treats. Otherwise a great and useful shop.”
“The staff ate all friendy and helpful.The only parking is on residential streets and the prices are a bit higher than the big stores BUT I don't mind paying the extra few pence if it means we keep having a store that's within walking distance. And let's face it, if you went to a bigger store, you'd probably buy a load of stuff you didn't really need, so you'd spent a lot more plus travel costs.Use it or lose it, like our Sainsbury's Local.”

“Conveniently located Tesco Express directly on the walking route from Fratton Station to Eastney Naturist Beach but could do with a wider range of sandwiches + fruit and veg. However the Tesco Extra is only 0.25 miles away if you need this extra choice.”

“It's a Tesco in current year, so if you're surprised by the relatively high prices you may not have popped in one for a while. However as a it's a major supermarket chain it seems a little silly to review the company as a whole here. Instead the 5 stars are for excellent staff performance from a customer's perspective.”

“Visited today, its great to be able to take our dog in as I don't like leaving him outside the shop so in lots of shops me and my husband end up going in separately. The lady who served us was really nice and my dog Toto agrees a not only did she make him welcome she gave him a treat. Its so handy having this shop so local when in so many places shops like this are closing. Keep up the good work.”

“One of the best Tesco in Portsmouth. The shop is big and has many good quality items. There's a good selection of clothes and there are often promotions and discounts. The shop also offers a wide range of home accessories and always has a good stock of fresh and usually very tasty salads, quick meals, fruits and vegetables. The self checkout tills are a good idea and make the shopping experience for many people easier and less stressful. Unfortunately, if you want to use a traditional till, you must be prepared to be served by a member of staff who is scanning shopping extremely slowly and is struggling to remove security tags from clothes ??♀️”
“Just wanted to say, the petite lady with the dark bob this morning who helped me when I split my coffee was amazing. Great customer service. I'd normally get really embarrassed but she was so calm and so nice about it, and wouldn't even let me help her clean it up. Thank you for turning an awkward situation into a understanding one, I left the store with a smile on my face!”

“The staff are always really friendly to me here... They are always packed I don’t know how they keep so cheerful when it seems like one of the busiest co-ops in Portsmouth. They are also the most easy shop to call up. I’ve spoken to a few shops on the phone in the past, being too lazy to walk a really long way if they aren’t going to stock what I fancy, and the lady I spoke to this evening was so full of bubbliness that I didn’t feel at all like a pain (even though I totally was). Highly recommend”
