“Nice local store to me, staff are always efficient and friendly. Wish there weren't so many hostile people gathered outside, but part of the charm of the area I guess!”

“A little shop with adequate selection (not extensive). It is always clean and neat when we visit, regardless of time of day. Staff are so warm and welcoming, and go out of their way to assist customers.”

“Can't go wrong with M&S, mind you, a bit of creative accounting may be going on by the staff. Cost of items £4.15, I gave a £5 note, the girl behind the desk runs £10 into the till, gives me 85p change. I wonder who got the fiver!”

“Popped in here to grab some snacks for a drive back home.Got a bag full of crisps, drinks, chocolate bars and biscuits for just under £10.Good prices and reasonable deals in store. Lots of choice and shelves were all full.Saw Indian veg in the store. Nice little addition if you want that cuisine.”

“Petrol station and shop located on the corner of Mayfield Road and Prospect Road. I've been going here for years and the service is always good. Staff and friendly and the additional of the M&S shop has certainly improved the shopping side of the business. As well as the well stocked shop there's all the usual things you'd expect from a petrol station (although there is no car wash). If you're just going shopping there's car parking spaces there too. Some times there is bit of a queue for fuel, but you shouldn't have to wait for too long.”

“Full of freezers and all things cold. Got plenty to choose from. Only popped in for some a box of lollies, came out with 2!! Cheeky me.
Staff were all busy stocking up or chatting about tiktok videos or something like that. 1 guy running the checkout, well I think it was?? Not much convo apart from offering my some nearly out of date cakes for 50p.”

“Lovely shop and lovely staff. This shop and it's staff have been my mainstay throughout the pandemic. I don't quite know how I would have coped without them.”

“Its to be expected. Only gripe or complaint is the parking situation is dire. I rather avoid that place and only go if I have to, otherwise I go to other less chaotic places.”

“I have always found the staff very helpful, maybe because I am polite, faulty equipment is not down to the staff, but the company, the general public need to practice being more accommodating when shopping, except that not everything is their right ?”

“When all the covid hoo-ha started, the queue to get in went halfway to B&Q, but there's no queue at all now. I've always shopped at Asda and found them quite good. Online shopping is hit-and-miss, but instore it's fine. Watch out for sell-by dates, though. Finally! They've discovered the 21st century! The carpark now takes cards; pay on exit. First 15 mins are free.Edit: they've stung me twice recently with prices. If you're buying household goods, check the advertised price is correct before going to the till. They're getting dodgy lately.”
