“me and my amazing friend james went to this lovely establishment yesterday. we met the manager called sagar who was very lovely and kind! we were there for forty minutes, he gave us a free crème egg and even let us sing Christmas songs on the microphone. this man deserves a promotion thank you so much sagar :)”

“A little shop with adequate selection (not extensive). It is always clean and neat when we visit, regardless of time of day. Staff are so warm and welcoming, and go out of their way to assist customers.”

“Popped in here to grab some snacks for a drive back home.Got a bag full of crisps, drinks, chocolate bars and biscuits for just under £10.Good prices and reasonable deals in store. Lots of choice and shelves were all full.Saw Indian veg in the store. Nice little addition if you want that cuisine.”

“Petrol station and shop located on the corner of Mayfield Road and Prospect Road. I've been going here for years and the service is always good. Staff and friendly and the additional of the M&S shop has certainly improved the shopping side of the business. As well as the well stocked shop there's all the usual things you'd expect from a petrol station (although there is no car wash). If you're just going shopping there's car parking spaces there too. Some times there is bit of a queue for fuel, but you shouldn't have to wait for too long.”

“Our corner grocery shop - we come here often. Sometimes the stock is low for some products but in general I always find everything I need. Not suitable for a big weekly shop probably, but great for small things.”

“Great prices, great range of products and perfect for all stationery needs. Also great selection of books, art utensils and also confectionery and drinks. They also have a western union department should you require. Social distancing measures are in place and adhered to with plastic screening at till points. There is a set out path and you are pointed in to a certain direction to avoid crossing paths. They have a great set of cards for all occasions and also stock a full range of magazines for all tastes alongside puzzel books. They already have reduced calendars so you can save a little money before the end of the month. They also sell a wide range of gift cards and also stock children's collectable stickers Whsmith does exactly what it says on the tin, newspapers, magazines, books. They also stock study guides for all ages and also have books for young to old. They have a table set at the front of the store advertising the latest books for both child and adult. Also they have beautiful note writing sets and note cards, they also sell printing essentials. I could go on but as a stable shop that has been in our shopping centres for years, they are a perfect one stop shop for all your stationery needs and other gifts. They do have the most beautiful cards for all occasions, they are maybe a little pricey but they are definitely worth the extra penny's. I would definitely recommend whsmith and will be visiting store again tomorrow as i know they will have what i need rather than shopping round different shops for individual items. “Great (very large) Shell station, so rarely any queues for fuel. Efficient staff get through inside queues quickly & well stocked inside for food, drinks, household goods (& vape juice ?).”
