“A small little store for quick on the go shopping. Has lots of options. Can definitely be overpriced if you leave shopping for the week a bit late. But otherwise nice for snacks, quick meals, drinks and booze.”

“Poignant and poetic but pokey. This One Stop screams Basildon but nestles itself humourously in the heart of a quaint and hospitable village. My initial thoughts? Half baked. Once I surrounded myself within its brown bricked setting, I succumbed to its convenience: bread, biscuits and milk. For your first grocery choice in Oakley, choose One Stop, be 'that guy'. 4 stars.”

“I went to this branch quite late at night, typically only needing one thing. I ended up holding much more than I could bear and dropped milk EVERYWHERE. I found a member of staff, and felt so bad, I offered to clean it up. He said absolutely not, that he would do it and it was ok. I didn’t ask for his name, but he had really kind eyes and a friendly smile!”

“MACE-Really makes it easy.Despite a lots of stores have been closed, it is among remaining survivers! It's the closest and convenient cash and carry store with almost everything in same place from fast food to cold drinks to alcoholic drinks to smoke! Locals drop in to collect everything when festival place and the mall becomes far away! The staffs are locals and friendly too.Proud to be local? If yes, go MACE King's Furlong, Basingstoke.”

“DONT PARK IN CAR PARK FOR OVER 20 MINS. I went in yesterday to drop off parcel and was told not to park in empty car park for longer than 20mins. You can imagine my thoughts!!! However went in today for another parcel and owner happily explained Spar - not him- has put up CCTV and fines anyone over 20mins ridiculously silly sums of money and he'd come out to warn me as I sat scrolling through my phone. So I had totally misjudged him. My thoughts about Spar though not to be put in print. Have only given 4 stars as feel Spar should put bigger, far more obvious signs in car park.”

“After being disappointed in the local fish n chip scene (we are spoilt where we live!). We decided to try somewhere new. The reviews convinced us to give this place a try. WOW! So glad we did. Fish (Cod) was cooked perfectly. The batter was crispy and the fish steamed beautifully, it was flaky and boneless. The chips were fantastic! We ordered a large and 2 medium, way too much but you live and you learn ? and they were great! Service was outstanding! Run with military precision but still friendly and welcoming. Obviously very popular with strong local support. The prices were reasonable, they have increased since their Facebook picture was taken but that’s to be expected and IMHO was still great value for money. Would I return? It’s a resounding YES from all 5 of use eating tonight, I would just order less chips! ?. P.S. The curry sauce was one of the best we have ever had! Definitely worth a try! Thanks to the team at Bao Diep a truly fantastic experience. We’ll see you soon!”

“I use this store for my hermes drop off. The staff are always helpful and service is quick! I've purchased a few bits and bobs in here. Lunch on the go is limited but its ok. Its not a huge store though so wouldn't expect them to stock everything.”

“I was absolutely delighted by the way I was treated at M&S Chineham. I broke down outside and was awaiting the AA. At the same time I only had a few bars on my phone so went into the store to enquire if I could borrow a phone charger. The man who I dealt with (sorry didn’t catch his name) went above and beyond to try to help me. They let me charge my phone and also let me have a cup of tea and sandwich for my 3 year old. My baby even had a banana. Well done M&S!!!!”

“My son throughly enjoys attending both multi sport and football holiday camps. He always asks to do extra time as he loves it so much and would go everyday if he could. The coaches are all brilliant and very attentive to children's needs. I highly recommend them. He also used to enjoy his PE lessons and before/during/after school clubs that Premier ran, it is such a shame his new school don't have Premier Sport.”
