My car broke down outside, pushed the car into the car park went into reception had tea and coffee waiting for help. Couldn't repair car left it overnight no problem, staff very helpful.

We chose the singing bridge for Christmas dinner staff friendly and accommodating, food and drink served promptly, slight problem with dessert that was dealt with quite quickly, food well cooked and well presented all in all a present experience. Spend time with us for great pub food in a place you'll love. We serve classic dishes with a modern twist - it's the perfect place to get together with familly and friends. The Swinging Bridge is named after a local iron swing bridge, built c1892 and located next to the famous Barton Aqueduct which carries the Bridgewater Canal over the Manchester ship canal - a true industrial wonder from a bygone time! Today, we serve delicious, freshly cooked pub food to a relaxed crowd of locals and regulars. Our first class service and excellent value makes us ideal for family days out, as does our promixity to the Trafford Centre and Legoland - we hope to see you soon!
