The woman (I assume she owes the bar) was discriminating against me!! Because of my id . As it is Hungarian and she had said that the police told her she can only accept British ?? I had contacted the police and they assured me this was not true . Very clear she did not want anyone who isn?t British in there ? disgusting cannot believe I spent over £250 in there !!!! I was so respectful the whole time I was there ! I heard her talking about me to the bouncers so I had asked what her problem is in the nicest way possible and she then said oh no sorry we don?t accept anything that isn?t British !!!!! Hahahahahha absolutely crazy in this day and age . I didn?t say anything rude which I had to stop myself as I was very upset because absolutely EVERYWHERE else accepts my id no matter what or where . She clearly has never seen an id that isn?t British and she tried telling me it?s fake when the bouncers clearly checked it with there lights and equipment . The bar staff were lovely they also had checked my id and served me with it . At the end of the day it doesn?t matter what your source of identification is aslong as it proves your age ?crazy lady!!!

Went for the waffle cones and sat in the outdoor area. Started to get very busy as we left at 5PM. Waffles are freshly made, so it's a bit of a wait if you are ordering a few, but to be expected.

My friends came app from Wales and I wanted to impress them and B.A.R.C.L.A.Y.S didn't disapoint. Props to the Manager, who offers you that personal touch, so feel welcome straight off the bat. The place was constantly being cleaned, so there were no messy tables left for more than 30 seconds after the clients had left the building. Easy to order, lovely house-white. Nice atmosphere, nice staff, nice food. Loving the 'BackToTheFuture' movie referencing the men's toilets, that was hilarious.... OH YEH 2for1 on Thursdays, who knew!!!!

Went in at 9pm for drinks and a pizza, only to be to be told they weren?t doing pizza even though they advertise until 11pm. Stayed for a drink and left disappointed and hungry.

Called in to check out the newly finished beer garden area. Freshly made pizza's were fantastic, beer garden tastefully done. The only thing I would have done differently in the be garden would be to relocate the smoking area as in its current location it is between the main bar areas and the cocktail bar in the beer garden so none smokers age staff bringing food out have to go through the smoke area.

The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced too! The cocktails are great especially when on the 2 for £13 deal, will definitely be making this a regular dinner date place

We hired the mezzanine area at the Barclay for our daughters family gathering after her christening. It was a great place & perfect for this kind of gathering. The staff were lovely & couldn't do enough for you. The manager there that day "Becky" was fab & she was happy to help with anything we asked for. She also very kindly arranged for me to take some table decorations earlier on & very kindly set them all out for me & they looked perfect! The pizzas, graze boards & Prosecco wall were delicious, everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. The atmosphere was great & everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The singer then came on from the balcony which was really lovely! She had an amazing voice! Gorgeous place. Would totally recommend. Thanks again for all your hospitality.
