I had an unfortunate experience in this store approx 1 month ago whilst shopping in there at approx 9.30pm on a Monday night. Whilst viewing items, I was pulled by a Security guard to search my bag as he thought I was shop lifting, obviously nothing was found. He then told me to leave the store and that I was banned from entering again. This was not backed up by a member of staff who knows me from shopping there earlier in the day, and have done so for the past few years.
I made an immediate complaint to their customer service dept at Head Office who apologised for the humiliation I had encountered, and informed me I am not and should never have been banned from the store.
Since then I have still visited the store but less frequently than I used to. However, today when I visited I must add that even though the store was busy - all staff were very helpful - lots of smiles- fancy dress and even giving out mince pies to customers as they walked through the door.

I been in tesco express with my husband and he was telling the girl in the first left counter that the clubcard is not working in the scanning section and if she could help him. She then had a abhorrence and anger . She reluctantly help us . It was saturday 19 th 7:10pm . It feels really sad when they act like this . I know it is weekend but still we all works and we are going through different situations its our duty to be calm with our customer

Prices are extortionate, especially placed in an area where some just scrape by £2.90 for 10 slices of basic ham, Tesco own cheese almost £4. Compared to Tesco extra the prices are 2x

Bad experience every time we go there , specially with the label Evri machine , most of times is broke or does not have paper , or they can?t find the scanner phone!!!! They are too lazy to help !!!! If u want a parcel from there , they will tell u to come back later almost every time !!!! Probably the worst Personel , careless, useless most of times!!!

Foods with reduced to clear prices was machined at the regular price for me. I didn?t find out till I went through the receipt at home. I was ripped of Almost £5! Not fair!

The manager told me to hurry up 20 minutes before closing time. I told him he should be open until 11? He told me when customers learn to pay him quicker then he'll jeep open until the correct time. Then made me wait 10 minutes while he scanned his reduction food for himself. Vile. About 2 weeks ago. Manager was tall skinny and a bit bald :)
