Popped in on the off chance they could help, the silicone covers on my glasses arm had split meaning the metal was rubbing against my head and ear. I was literally in there 10 minutes tops, replacement covers were fitted, all with a smile and fabulous service, I really can't thank you enough!

I'm genuinely shocked at my most recent experience here.Everything at my eye test appointment and selecting my glasses was great, really really happy with the service.I came to collect my glasses and the woman who was fitting my glasses was quite rude and didn't seem to understand what was going on.After the second time she tried to fit my glasses, she was saying 'I can't do this' and seemed to struggle getting the glasses straight. After about the 8th time of trying, she put the glasses down and said 'That's the best I can do.'What am I supposed to do with that? I had to then ask her what my options were because this was unbelievable. She then asked me 'Did you get these recently?'Did I get them recently??!! I was there collecting them! She went to go and find someone to do god knows what for about 20 minutes and at this point I'd had enough so I found her and said I wanted new frames and picked new ones.I ask how long until they'll be ready and she says 2 weeks. I ask if they can put a rush on it since I've already been without glasses for 2 weeks and need this new prescription. She says 'Do you need them urgently?' At this point another woman helps and says they can be done in 5-7 days. I ask if you'll call me when they are ready and she tells me to just keep popping in! Eventually I get a confirmation that I'll get a phone call.Honestly, I've never met someone with such lacking customer service skills in my life. It's been 5 days and still not heard about my glasses being ready so let's wait and see on that one...In response to specsavers: No I don't use these forms of social media. Can you send me an email address instead?

Had eye test ordered glasses came bk wrong lenses told ring bk in a week did so .Told by the manager they would be back by this week got told on the phone yesterday the lenes have not been ordered angry

Very friendly store, staff are fantastic and make you feel so welcome, glasses were back within 2 weeks and staff adjusted to my needs....

Fantastic experience , greeted on arrival , assessed and promptly seen by ophthalmologist, got a quick referral for follow up cataract surgery . Appointment for this was arranged for the surgery the following week, and it wasn?t an emergency GREAT, all round service from everyone at Specsavers in Royton Oldham ?????

Went to book an eye test, said they could do it same day if I could wait 15 minutes which I did. All staff very friendly, talked me through each process, didnt rush if I asked questions as I had never had an eye test before. Picked 2 different pairs as they were on offer, would be ready in approx 2 weeks, actually only took 1 week but I left my collection appointment as it was. Went yesterday for pick up and fitting, seen on time, again helpful assistant, no issues, very happy experience.

Excellent staff & service from walking in the door for a eye test to choosing glasses & what options I have , then booking in to collect my new glasses . ??????????

Left 6 months without glasses due to an employee error- To add insult to injury they did not honour the price which was set up previously at the start now despite having this all in their ?system?. Customer service is non-existent, staff couldn't care less at this store and were more bothered about finishing time, no empathy skills. Will be raising to head office. Staff need more training, both in service and in the knowledge of their products.

Absolute shambles. Incompetent staff with zero knowledge in their products and promotions. Non existent customer service, and absolute no interest to resolve the mistakes they have made. Feedback was useless to the main office. Both Royton and Oldham are the same, avoid like the plague

scandalous..tried overcharging almost double the cost of oldham for the exact same glasses.. with no clear explanation. staff are very uncaring and do not care about customers, please visit an optician that actually cares!!

Faulty product sent with incorrect prescription! Staff couldn't care less, much better opticians out there. Would not visit again!
