Made a booking through Instagram, all easy going.
Turned up, the waiter knew who I was and seated us. Super friendly, smiley interacted with my boys.
Took drink orders then food and give her full credit, she coped well taking the orders with my 3 being super fussy with things being removed.
Now, food arrives on bang average time I'd say for fresh food being cooked.
My partners did come with the salad that he wanted off and a child's chips had to be replaced because of herbs being thrown on them as a garnish. Me personally didn't mind them but probably just take note for the future not to do it on a kid's meal. You'll forever be replacing them.
All was sorted once I spoke the waiter and all meals was enjoyed.
In terms of the children's menu, may I suggest having a separate menu for them and maybe widen the range?
Mine enjoyed the smash burgers though, but there wasn't any pasta dish or a vegetarian option not that mine are. Also like adding a smaller dessert option and other drinks options like cordial.
Like I'd come again, the food and service was lovely. Family friendly as well. Just need to revamp the kid's side of it as their options are scarce.

Visited Smokeyard and sadly had a very disappointing experience. The restaurant was extremely quiet when we arrived, with no other customers in at the time. While the server was polite, the service was slow?our drinks took quite a while to arrive and both the Coke and pint were flat.
Even though we were the only table, our food took over 40 minutes. We ordered a steak hangar and a smash burger. The steak was overcooked and lacked seasoning, and the smash burger was subpar?definitely not worth the wait or the price.
The overall cleanliness of the place also left a lot to be desired. The tables were sticky, there were a number of flies flying around the dining area, and the toilets were unclean, which really affected the experience.
To make things worse, when it came time to pay, we were told the only payment options were bank transfer or cash, which felt very unprofessional and inconvenient.
Based on this visit, I wouldn?t return and definitely wouldn?t recommend

Love this place!! Been here 4 times now over the last 8 months and I really have to say its such a beautiful place and really enjoy and look forward to going. Love the interior it's so pretty and welcoming. The owner and staff are so lovely, very warm and attentive. The food Is mouth watering before it even comes to table. The smell is amazing!! Love the atmosphere and music that's carefully selected.

A grey, smelly and very off hash brown served on meal, rest was ok and they didn?t charge us for said meal but off putting nonetheless. The restaurant was also very cold.

Popped in for dinner on the day of the new menu being unveiled we couldn't have had better timing!
Our server (Tom I believe it was) was lovely, very helpful and informative.
My partner went and ordered the Chicken Waffle Burger (it comes with fries) and he got also a 'Mini Yardie' of Mac and Cheese which he really rated too.
I, myself got the Hot Smash Burger and upgraded my fries to the Dirty Chilli Beef Variety, awesome bit of spice on both!
We hadn't been in for a little while, but will be definitely popping back at a much sooner interval, maybe to try out the new brunch options! ?

Me and my partner live next door we come here a couple of times and the food is amazing every time, everyone is really friendly and it's such a relaxing place to have a nice meal so thank you everyone at smoke yard for an amazing meal once again ?

This restaurant has changed so much since I last came last year and it?s all been for the better! Myself and my partner came for my birthday and we were the only customers in the restaurant. The staff were so kind and helpful, and I was able to choose the music so it felt very special. The food was amazing and I can?t wait to visit again soon.

Visited Smoke Yard for a lovely long lunch with a friend today and we both thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was delicious, fresh, and cooked very well. Our waiter Tom was incredibly attentive and did an amazing job looking after us. Would recommend!

Went smoke yard tonight and the food was delicious. We had the new York 14ounce strip steak and it was gorgeous. They really know how to do their food. Homemade slaw and peppercorn sauce. Everything about it was gorgeous. The front house guy was very attentive. The chef needs props for the food.. if you want some good proper cooked fresh food you need to get to smoke yard!!

Came for my partner's birthday. We pre ordered the tomahawk steak and it was absolutely fantastic! Amazing piece of meat cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Once they found out that it was my partner's birthday they even brought us a free dessert which tasted incredible! Would definitely come again. Thank you smoke yard for a lovely evening.
