Booked an appointment with Greg to run through Internet banking for my wife and myself. Nothing was to much trouble, all was explained to make the experience easy as well as being practical. Seemed more approachable than the banks that are closing branches and putting profits first rather than putting the customer first.

I booked an appointment with Nationwide to open an account for my child and was pleasantly surprised to get a same-day slot. I was seen by Grzegorz, who was not only efficient and helpful with setting up the account, but went above and beyond.
What really stood out was how he took the time to go through my other accounts and gave me advice that?s made me feel so much more financially confident. I honestly can't believe how much I was missing out on before!
The whole experience was smooth, informative, and genuinely helpful. I?ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this branch ? especially Grzegorz. Thank you so much!

I came to the Oldham branch on Tuesday afternoon with my son to help sort his accounts out to get the best interest rate.
We were seen immediately in a private room by Greg. Well Greg was so very efficient, professional, knowledgeable and polite.
He sorted my sons account and mine too in order to give us both the best interest rates.
We were both so very impressed and happy with Greg!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your branch. I was given inaccurate information about my account, being informed that it would be closed, only to later discover that this was not the case.Upon filing a complaint, I received a mere £50 compensation, which I find inadequate given the inconvenience and frustration caused by the misinformation provided. I expected a higher level of service and accuracy from your staff.This experience has left me disappointed and doubtful about continuing my banking relationship with your branch. I hope you address these issues promptly to improve the overall customer experience

The staff at Nationwide Oldham have been very helpful when visiting the Oldham branch in person. However the national Nationwide customer service line has been abysmal - it's impossible to get to speak to anyone - you just go round in circles pressing buttons, with some patronising, sugar-coated voice on the other end of the line. Tried three times in three different ways, and each time they hung up saying 'Can't help you sorry!' It's put me off the whole company.
