Really bad customer service

Cashiers are very professional and polite, but the woman who filters the queue and questioned my integrity by asking why I didn?t want to use a ?machine? needs a crash course in customer relations! Prefer to visit an ?human? thanks very much. After all, that?s what we are!! Beyond rude and very intrusive? staring at my statements and looking at my payment dates. Bad attitude and not a good representative for a bank, or a fast-food joint for that matter! Desperately wanted me to use the machine, which I politely refused, but her attitude was very poor. Pushy, rude and nosey!

Was in a couple of weeks ago at the Oldham branch and a young man named Jackson was very helpful and very patient with me as I am not great with technology. This morning, 22/8 another young man, sorry didn't get his name, on the floor helping customers was also very helpful and polite. Well done to the young males in your branch.

Went in today with my older brother to sort out a few issues with his account, Samantha who dealt with us was fantastic,so helpful and nothing is too much trouble,a real asset to the halfax oldham branch

Absolutely disgusting happen to me twice now never have a problem with other banks logged me out twice on the online banking and the way we are treated is un fair was told to wait 15-20 mins ended up taking me an hour tiwce for something that could have been done in minutes felt like a right ginny pig made us speak to the 0800 number that we was told to speak to online and they again referred us to make our way to the branch absolutely disgusting customer service

The Oldham branch closes at four. I arrived at quarter to four, there were two people in the queue ahead of me. There was only one young person on the counter who seemed to be new to the job, she was slow and unsure of herself so she took longer. There was another member of Halifax staff present bit she was chatting to the security guard. When I got to the head of the short queue the young woman on the counter said she wasn't accredited to carry out the business I wanted and directed me to the middle desk. I went there and waited. And waited. The woman who was chatting away finally noticed me and told me to go back to the counter. I told her I had been directed to the middle desk She told her young colleague to deal with me. The young woman tried but she was not authorised to access the part of the system I needed. I asked Mrs Chatterbox if she would help but she said she never worked after four o''clock (it was then ten past). I told her I considered it good customer service to work a little late if a customer had been waiting, or to move fast so that they got their service before closing time. I do that for my customers in my job. She said her staff didn't have to serve me after four o'clock because they had homes to go to. When I went back on another day and asked for the manager's name as I wanted to make a complaint about bad service, I got an aggressive response from the manager and from the person who served me at the counter, who had apparently been eavesdropping on my conversation. I didn't do what I went there to do, I drew out all of my money and paid it into my other savings account the same day. I will not use Halifax again.

Usually love the customer service at this Branch hence why I have stayed with them for more than 15yrs But had the most aweful experience at the Bank yesterday by one member of staff whom I think is important to name, Maariyah Akhtar who is one the Cashiers. This staff member has no manners, was so rude and unprofessional from the start. She was like this to the customer before me and also my sister who always disrepected by this member of staff everytime she is dealt by this staff. It has been noticed that this staff is always rude to customers. The branch has really down graded in customer service since they hired this staff who is so arrogant and rude and simply does not want to help customers and is always huffing and puffing when she is required to do so. Had I not had a very important transaction to make I would have walked out of the Branch, her behaviour was that digusting with everyone. The fact that she is gets away with an attitude like this constantly baffles me.

It may be a very efficient bank but it?s very old dated and does not have easy accessibility like barclays etc.Very disappointed by the staff members, one in particular who never seem to have a smile in her face. Not helpful at all and always miserable. It seems like she comes in to work and wants to just get rid of people as fast as possible.I don?t understand why people work in the public sector when they don?t have manners nor politeness.Every time I come in unfortunately she is always there and is always moody. Never once has actually helped.Puts me off even staying with halifax just because of the staff.

The Halifax staff are very helpful, especially when I have a problem using the machines, it took me a while to start using these, now I don't have to queue at the counter it gives me more time for shopping. I would also like to add that whenever I have a problem with my bank account, Halifax advisers on the phone take the time to listen & explain what to do. Thank you to you all.

Okay service, glad I've not seen George for while he was a bit too over the top and familiar with customers. Staff ask you to sanitise everytome you go in which is a bit much as I an aware of the signs and sanitiser provided so will always do it. It's just a bit of a pet peeve when I'm asked to do it when I had every intention of doing so.
