Staff are really helpful. Relaxed atmosphere overall a really pleasant experience. Sofas are well priced, and the store is lovely and clean and smells wonderful. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Been a nightmare since this started! DO NOT USE DFS OLDHAM ELK MILL!!
Delivered wrong sofa, far too big for our house. Dog injured trying to get over it, baby hurt trying to get around it. Store mager embarrassingly useless! Promised dates for new delivery for the sofa I?m paying for, never happened, moving date around pretending to sort it. Absolutely awful customer service once you?ve signed on the dotted line! DO NOT USE THEM.

Customer service is appalling. Have had a brand new sofa from here and is extremely soft and has deep creases in it. Been trying to get this resolved for the last 3 months. Everytime I contact customer service they say the store manager will be in touch. The assistant manager then pretends to call and cuts the call after one ring when I answer. Never leaves a voicemail or email, rather I have to get in contact again. If they don't get my issue resolved by the end of the month I will be getting in contact with the ombudsman.
Always keep in mind the sofa you see on display is nothing like the one you will get. They make the display one much better and deliver you something which looks and feels used. Being a reputable company you would think they would have a much better customer service team.

Terrible customer service.
No returned calls from the store, even the customer support team could not get through. 14 weeks with a damaged couch and front door frame.
Had to seek legal advice to get the order cancelled. Still left with a damaged door frame. Avoid this company as the customer service is embarrassing, I chased every day and wrote numerous emails, letters until finally a manger called to help sort it out.

I bought my sofas at the DFS Oldham store and initially received good service. The sofas are great, and I was advised to take insurance, which included the option to call for cleaning at any time.
However, when I contacted the insurance company, the process was not as straightforward as I was led to believe. I was instructed to use a wipe to clean the sofa first and to call back if that didn?t work. I was disappointed with this advice, as my sofa has changed color, especially on the headrest.
I called DFS, and they said someone would contact me to discuss my complaint, but no one has reached out to date. As a result, I?ve decided never to take insurance for stains again. Had I known the actual process, I wouldn't have opted for the insurance. I also found out later that the insurance covers accidental broken furniture for five years, which I was not informed about initially.
While I am still happy with my sofas, I will be more cautious about colors in the future and avoid insurance cover.

Matt was amazing, from start to finish. He is a brilliant asset to your team! Any questions he answered clearly for us and even silly ones you get scared to ask incase you look silly. He had a laugh with us and made us feel comfortable. No faults what so ever. Thank you DFS and especially thank you Matt! Can?t wait to receive our sofa now!?

There are some lovely store assistants at the Elk Mill location, however there are two older males that are straight up rude (racist?) When I approached to ask for help, both of them walked off saying someone else can help. Very unprofessional. I still returned to the store understanding that they're probably just the odd ones, and was warmly helped by a young gentleman who was very helpful and professional. I missed to get his name unfortunately but he wore glasses.
Please train your staff better in general to not discriminate against customers.
