My business account was suddenly locked on a Sunday with no explanation. I was told to call a number where no one can help and had to wait days (closer to weeks) for a ?team? to respond. Eventually, I got a vague claim that I was in breach of policy, yet no one could explain what policy or provide any detail.
This is how the Co-op treats small businesses ? zero transparency, zero accountability, and definitely not ethical in any real sense. Their ?values? are nothing more than a marketing gimmick.
If you rely on your account to run your business, do not trust Co-op. You?ll be left stranded, ignored, and treated with contempt.

Being the only branch available in Oldham. You sure would expect them to have more staff in? I understand budget cuts and digital banking etc. but this bank has got nothing like everywhere else whom are moving up with the time. Whenever you walk in you are definitely expected to wait atleast 10mins before anyone sees you at the counter. Having a counter which can accommodate 3 staff and only using the one staff counter I just don?t get it. If you would like to decrease staff at least have paying in machines etc to accommodate the less person. Is co-op bank still being left behind in the 90?s? Surely looks like it!!

While my husband and i was at the your branch in Oldham today we received the most amazing treatment from a lovely lady Aksah Sajid.. She was wonderful, sat with us for an hour helping us move accounts about, open a new account. She is an absolute credit to the Cooperative Bank. Made life so much easier and could you thank her off us xx ?

Given a phone number for the branch to book an appointment?.impossible when no one answers the phone! After 10 attempts how many more times am I expected to try? The money banks make and cant even staff the phone!

You'll actually age in here whilst waiting to be served. It's like they want to piss people off by having three people on the counter but only 1 actually serving. The que is always big and they don't seem to care one bit, all fake smiles and looking clueless.
