I?ve been going to this store since I was 15 years old and over the years the staff seem to be getting weirder disinterested and they seem to behave as if their interaction is valuable as the years have gone. Yes all the customer does is buy and give you money but impressions and customer service matter. I do have more things to say but it?ll come off very nasty.

I went up to the counter to ask a question about one of their products. The guy I spoke to was on his phone when I approached, he is the short one with long black hair. I asked him which product out of the few I was looking at would be the best and he rolled his eyes and said the most expensive one. He didn?t say anything else to me or bother to even look at the product I was asking about. He clearly doesn?t know what he?s talking about and has no customer service skills whatsoever

I'm mixrace. Went to the store once & one of the colleagues said he was racist! Another I asked to check if the disc had any marks & he threw it at me! Feel like they all treat me like a 2nd class citizen. The only colleagues who work at Cex Oldham who I got on with & treated me with respect/human being have all left.

Know your pricing before going in. And check the margins for how much they will offer Vs the price they resell. CEX can offer more on trade compared to cash elsewhere but it's not a guarantee.
They also have some very odd pricing on some things, even pricing second hand goods at or above brand new online from the retailer. Always check that before buying, as if it costs just a tiny bit more new it is likely worth it.
Also beware the condition they rate your item at when trading in, make sure to ask for detailed reasoning. I've personally had it before were I was refused an A grade for not having the original box! Only to go to another CEX and have it accepted immediately.
The staff at this store are generally very nice and helpful.

This shop is a rip off shop
It does not want to give money back especially when you have bought a item just over a month and want to sell it back on the computer They say one thing is the price we will pay you such an amount when you bring your item in they know you can't take it anywhere on a Saturday at 4.50om when you come in with you're items especially when it is bought from the Oldham cex shop you will get a price from the same person especially when you have an account with them and he will give wrong information sales act.

Do not deal with this individual.

You have to experience this no word of a lie.
