Boots in Oldham is quite a nice store and very large, stretching across numerous entrances through both street level and the Spindells mall, for a town like Oldham it does seem great, but sadly many features just seem disappointing and a bit of a let down really. I was upset at a lack of management and order at the Pharmacy desk, where there were people queuing in different queues with no signs, so basically one might be queuing if they didn't need to, as I was when I handed my prescription is. The layout also leaves the store to be a bit of a maze, I even struggled to find the checkouts, as there were only a few of them, which did seem hidden in a way. The range of edible products other than medication also seemed good, with the drink selection going across two fridges and including the new, cool Evian juices, fizzy drinks such as Coca-Cola and Lipton Iced Tea. They also had a satisfactory range of food such as a small gluten free dark chocolate moose, which was presented quite cool with its own spoon, but tasted awful. The layout and decor and feel of the store is near enough average of any other Boots chain, overall this store is slightly above average and really nice for a small town like Oldham so I am pleased to hand out a three star rating, but it is probably on the lower end and specifically around a 3.2 or a 3.4.
