“Came on on Saturday to try and find a suit for my female partner. As a lesbian couple, finding suits for my partner is often super tricky as she doesn’t want to wear women’s suits, but men’s suits bury her.Within 5 seconds of entering the store, we were welcomed by John who immediately greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed any help (which we did because we were clueless).I explained the situation and he instantly made us feel at ease and assured us that he has tons of female customers and that women can absolutely rock men’s suits (so go John! I don’t think you know how nice that was to hear).He took my partners measurements and led us straight over to an entire rack where the suits fit her PERFECTLY!We got an idea of colours and tried a few different suits on and what’s great is Slaters do free tailoring for their suits, so we are able to have it altered to fit her just right.Cannot thank John enough and in all fairness, all of the staff there. No one looked at us like we were two girls that shouldn’t be in a men’s store. It felt extremely comfortable and welcoming which really made our day and we’ve now got a perfect suit!Couldn’t recommend Slater Menswear Manchester any more than I already do. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Literally amazing! I have a wheat and a peanut allergy. I'm not anaphylactic, but get incredibly puffy. When I mentioned it, they came out and explained how they were going to handle my food different and mark it. If it doesn't come out with a purple flag, they made a mistake and don't touch it. How careful and caring is that?! Steven was my server, so kind! Michael came to talk about the allergen protocol in place, blew my mind! Burger was great, too! Service exceeded expectations!”

“Visited here with my partner to find shoes to walk the camino.Rynn and Charlie couldn't be more helpful, they paitently tried every shoe to help me find the right fit.Unfortunately they noticed that my right ankle bone was quite low,and this is the reason why I've been struggling to find the right footwear.they advised me to go to a podiatrist, which I've been thinking about doing..The staff in this shop are excellent, I can't rate them enough..”

“I hired a 3 piece suit for a wedding from them recently. The service received from the chap who served me was first class. Nothing was too much trouble for (sorry, I forgot your name). He knew how to help and advise without getting into my personal space. I had a very positive experience, and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to hire a suit for any occasion. The selection of designer suits, quality of material, and design is fantastic, no complaints about the cost of hiring either.”

I can not comment on returns as I have never returned anything as of yet.Cotswold outdoor sell high end, top of the range outdoor equipment, so may not always be budget friendly compared to other outdoor suppliers.Some jackets, for example, sell for between £350 - £625 for a gortex pro jacket. The good thing is you can actually try these on before you make a purchase.When you walk into cotswold outdoors, it seems to be more of a fashion outdoor store rather than an outdoor outdoor store. Don't get me wrong, they have all the top brands, but if all you're doing is going for a couple of hours' walk, you do not need a £300-500 jacket to do that.I stay dry and wind proof all day with a jacket I bought for £60.”
