Useless! Booked an appointment here to have my tyres checked to see if they were faulty as advised by Michelin. When i arrived, it took ages for someone to actually notice me in reception, only then to be greeted by a staff member who was very reluctant to check the tyres. He did check them (in a fashion) just by feeling his hands round the tyres. The issue i was having with the tyres is that two had burst in a very short time of having a full set fitted at the sides and Michelin thought that maybe the rubber wasn't thick enough on the sides of the tyres, and informed me that ATS could check the rubber on them using a device. The mechanic told me what there was no such device and told me that everyone was after a claim on their tyres these days due to the state of the roads and i would need to make a claim with the council. I told him that i couldn't claim from the council as i hadn't actually hit any potholes etc. i left feeling really annoyed.

I visited the Bury branch to have my front tires replaced as I am a regular customer there. I paid £169.97 for two tyres, balancing and alignment which was a bit pricey but still manageable. However, as soon as I left the shop after changing the tire, I realized that my car was incredibly unstable. The steering wheel wobbled when I accelerated or applied the brakes, especially when driving uphill. I can assure you there were no signs of this problem before the tire was changed.That same week, I went back to the workshop because it wasn't safe to drive in those conditions. The mechanic examined my car and informed me that it had a broken bushing. Surprisingly, he stated that this issue had nothing to do with the work they did. The mechanic advised against driving the car in such a dangerous condition and did not release it.Now my concern is how the car was initially returned to me with the same problem, knowing how dangerous it was. Furthermore, if this problem actually arose while my car was in the shop, I believe it is unfair to bear the costs. To make matters worse, the mechanic who helped me charged me an exorbitant £40 for a simple control arm part, . plus the labor cost of another £40, I thought it was high for such a basic repair, considering this service normally costs a fraction of that amount. Furthermore, I noticed that the name of the replaced part was abbreviated, which made it difficult to understand and evaluate.To my surprise, when I returned to the store to resolve the issue, they repeated the wheel alignment and charged me an additional £40. This left me even more perplexed.In short, my visit to change two tires caused my car to leave the shop with problems it didn't have before. And this problem cost another £120. I understand that when carrying out inspections it is entirely plausible that they found parts that need to be replaced, this is natural. But releasing the car with this problem and the defective part so that I can come back in a few days and pay for another alignment is sick. I must express my disappointment that, as a loyal customer, I have lost confidence in the services provided by this branch. Unfortunately, this experience led me to the decision to no longer be a customer at your establishment. Additionally, I will make every effort to share my feedback with everyone I know, ensuring they are aware of my experience and the unexpected additional charges I faced.

I took my car in for an oil service on Friday when driving home realised there was a banging coming from my bonnet. My partner opened my bonnet when I got home to see that parts hadn?t been screwed back up that has been taken off to change a filter. This is absolute disgusting leaving a job half done

I am really disappointed with the customer service of this branch. I have booked an appointment for AC regas about a week ago. I called in around 15 min before the appointment from Manchester and found out that the AC regas machine broke and went for repair. I should have been informed atleast an hour before my appointment time to save me a trip to bury. Disappointed ???

Just changed the 4 new tyres and 4 wheel alignment has been done.Noticed Steering wheel is not in the centred while driving.Done a rechecked but still the problem exists.

Always use this for our tyres etc, they're a good crew. Booked in for next Saturday for four new tyres and air con re gassing. Great chance to see what's new in Bury and do some shopping while the car's being done.

After being advised by my lease company to take my car to ATS for emergency tyre repair after being temporarily fixed by the roadside I was met by a really rude older man who rushed me away before me finishing my explanation.Complete waste of time. Rude member of staff. Unhelpful. Just shrugged his shoulders at me.
