“Totally nuts before christmas but they do have great party food and bulk buys on drinks and snacks which I guess everyone wants at christmas. My one complaint is they never have enough people on the tills, and if they had a couple of self scan tills for people with a few items you would get stuck behind brenda doing her friday big shop!”

“Aldi has come along nicely since the 90s. They have bargain s on horse riding gear from time to time and scented candles are a must...they fill up rooms with amazing scent..groceries are nice too..try it”

“Good selection of food. Have noticed that Sainsburys must tailor products to area. My area is Hornchurch and I can never get Anya potatoes or Sainsburys tea cakes, to name two, in Bolton branch. ( I visit Bolton frequently since my mother lived close and I was born there.)”

“On my usual shop i noticed a good item that was to large to fit in the car with my family in tow. I asked Dave (Manager) sorry if i got the name wrong its been 2 weeks since buying.Either way he put the item in the back for me and 30 minutes later i came back to store to collect. He spotted me and went to get the item, opened a till so i didn't have to wait. Its rare you will get customer service this good in any supermarkets in general, add that to his level of detail and forward thinking he is a huge asset to Lidl.Thanks again for the top service”

“Forgot my purse after shopping at Little Lever Tesco today thanks to Romario on the till he put my shopping away till I returned , so helpful and polite, thankyou Romario and thankyou Tesco for Employing such lovely staff”

“This is my go to Aldi, it always has everything I need all the time. It is well stocked as the staff are always filling the shelves. The only issue I have sometimes is that not many tills are open when you have a big shop so waiting times can be long.”

“First time I've been to Lidl. Found it to be a nice light store, decent width aisles. Well laid out and quite a good selection on offer at good prices. Found one item that son likes that was £2 cheaper than normal place I shop. Only let down was length of till, plenty space to load onto conveyor but once they e scanned there's not much room for bagging ,so, you're basically throwing stuff into your bags. Take a bit of space off conveyor and add bagging area would be good idea. Other than that, happy and will shop here again.”

“Love aldi as smaller than the big supermarkets which I struggle with due to poor mobility. Prices are fantastic and you definitely get nearly twice as much as you would get in the big supermarkets . Always love the central aisle which are always filled with different things like socks, shoes , books and a whole lot of other good buys from garden equipment to electrical etc etc etc . They also have an online website that you can order from and also view what's available in the shops . The tills are a bit difficult as in the big supermarkets they pack my bags for me so I need take someone with me to assist me with the packing of the shopping. Plus there isn't a bench or 2 for people to take a rest at if needed . Those are the only difficulties that are for people with poor mobility only.”

“Listen up management I’ve Been coming here for 10+ years. Some skivers, But noticed everything runs a lot better when Jackie’s on her shift. She should be manager or head of supervisors at least.”

“Store its self is fine staff great shelfs well stocked my only concern (they may say its nowt to do with them) as a single person on low benefits i have to watch my money so really need to lay in cash the number of times the atms(3 of them) have no cash in them especially Fridays & Mondays, I can't walk very far the next nearest ATM changes you to take cash out. Try get it sorted morrisons it is letting you down”

“Usual format for a Tesco Express at a petrol station. Product availability is a bit hit and miss here and many products associated with Tesco stores are not available. This is an Esso site and petrol is more expensive than usual Tesco and other supermarket petrol stations. Petrol at the Morrison's in Bolton Town Centre, a little over a mile away is around the 106p mark whereas here it is 110p.”

“Really convenient, friendly staff, excellent deli.

Could perhaps use a fairer female/male balance in the clothing section. But many stores are guilty of that.”

“Love lidl feels much better to shop there makes a change from asda morrisons which I find over priced feels relaxed at lidl it's right down m Street shopping there”

“Very convenient.Operates over social hours, even on a Sunday from 7am till 22:30. Really pleasant staff and the location is easily accessible with premium products available at a slightly higher price. But really nice shopping experience here and disabled facilities offered including close range parking and staff assistance for carrying the shopping to the car.”

“The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I came in just before closing and they still helped amazingly and went above and beyond. Usually staff would be quite tired and unhelpful but not the case here.”

“Very helpful, I needed to hand in a parcel for Evri, I was shown how to do this as its the first time I've needed to send anything. There's parking at the back of the shop so no having to find a spot. Very happy with shopping here.”

“Clean petrol station and good range of products in the shop. Has a cash machine and a Costa coffee express. Getting out and back on to the main road can be difficult especially at the busy times of the day.”

“Clean, bright store with a good selection of choices across the various ranges. Good quality fruit and vegetables. Lots of reduced offers in the entrance. A number of self service tills or you can queue and be served by a person.The local post office is also located within the store.”

“Saturday afternoon is often a chaotic time in any establishment, but the staff here are professional and calm, even as parents let their kids run around like crazy. Shelves always full of bargains and new things to try.”

“Good pharmacy with knowledgeable and helpful staff, but don’t expect to collect your prescription when they open at 7.00 because the chemist won’t be there yet, and the staff can’t release your prescription without the chemist being on site. Aim for about 7-15 to prevent you from hanging around”
