“Good selection of foods, good prices, can get a full shop cheaper, it is just another Aldi though, good for weekly deals, have to be quick if on offer. Cheapest Supermarket at present, prices slowly creeping up, but still cheaper, good stock.”

“I think the store is good with decent range of produce. However I did have a couple of incidents where the security guard followed me. On one occasion I had a plastic bag in one hand which had few items from tesco in it. He followed me right around the shop then watched me bagging my items.

I don't like it when the aisles are blocked when staff are restocking the fridges in particular, as the aisle is very narrow and when it's busy, it's actually quite hard to move. They leave very little space for customers and don't move things out of the way when you're trying to get into a fridge either.
I've noticed the female staff in particular can be quite unfriendly. Staff aside though, the actual store itself is good.”

“Based in Ancoats on the Msnchester Basin, it features Aldi, Pure Gym, Go Outdoors, and an M&S outlet store. A bit of a pest getting there by bus but there is a carpark which gets very bus. Bus 216 stops outside on its way to and from Ashton under Lyne”

“'Aldi' is a great value for money supermarket.
Their fruit/vegetables and salad availabilities are very good value for money.? Lots of variety & choice on offer, especially the preservatives...??I love the apple & balsamic fig preserve (simply scrumptious), with their multi choice crackers and quality new cheeses they now have on offer in store ie: vintage cheddar ?- do try, with a nice glass of their in store rosè prosecco or the Sicilian gin, this combination is simply delicious, you can't go wrong ?

“Visiting the cafe was a unpleasant experience. Ordered 1 tea and one coffee which were brought to the table by young waitress. As good as throw at us also spilled some of the accompanying milk no attempt to clean up. As not returning to clear this up I had to go to counter for serviettes to mop it up myself. She half hearted apologies. The place was was empty with three members of staff with little to do on a late Friday afternoon. Very disappointing visit and shall not be returning or recommending to friends and colleagues.”

“I shop here quite often. I find the parking spaces extremely small and too narrow. Very often its difficult to open the door without hitting the car next to you. I have had many dings on my car from this car park and also a bad accident when someone backed into me.”

“I recently visited the Home Bargains store in Manchester and was very impressed with the selection of goods on offer and the prices.
The store is well-stocked with a wide range of products, including homewares, toiletries, electronics, and toys. I was particularly impressed with the selection of homewares, which included everything from furniture to kitchenware. The prices were also very reasonable, and I was able to find several items that I had been looking for at a fraction of the price of other stores.

“Went in to get some ice as staying in the hotel above. The freezer was empty of ice but a very helpful member of staff called Jake went down to the storeroom freezer to get some for us and also some stock for others. He finished what he was doing and immediately went to sort it.

“Lidl offers great quality products at unbeatable prices. The store is always clean, well-organized, and the staff is friendly. A fantastic place for everyday shopping!”

“I love this store, especially the bakery section. One thing I've noticed though, is that fruit flies have been getting at the baked good.

Also, they used to have things freshly baked but now it seems they're baked enmasse and stored in a fridge, which affects the quality of the items. They're still nice, but sometimes I hear them up at home to get that freshly baked taste.
They have a good range of produce, especially the fresh fruit , veg and meat.

“Great shops for a bargain and I often visit to get especially cleaning products which are usually the branded ones just as in the larger supermarkets but much cheaper!The range of goods and quality can vary a lot but for the things I need and usually get from here it is more than adequate”

“Great store but please consider your elderly clients when putting things through your till. Please give them time to do their packing and be patient whilst taking payment. We will old be elderly and vulnerable one day!
