And the counter staff rightly refused to serve my 11 year old grandson, with the violent game he wanted. But happy to sell to me in my 70's.?”

Manchester Rd“Great thank you to Hassan.I went to the Halfords Manchester road from the moment i walked the staff were great. I could not find a item double sided tape so i asked Hassan who took me to the item on the shelf. He also compared the items on the shelf for me and helped me choose the best for the right purpose. He asked if i needed any more help.He got me to the till and sorted out the payment. Hassan has a very nice smile ,funny ,kind and helpful, i was in the store for 10 mis and will be back again soon”

Bolton Gate Retail Park“On the day we visited (Sunday) to purchase a new TV they were short staffed and we had to wait a while to be served . Once an assistant was available they were extremely helpful in showing and advising us on the various models we were interested in, even helping us secure a discount using the Blue Light discount card. overall a rather more pleasant experience than what I was expecting.”

Unit 3“A great place with so many items for sale either in store or buy online, or if you prefer there is always the option of click and collect.Staff helpful and caring as well as polite and will help you if you cannot find the particular item you are searching for.Some items are self assemble and it is an idea if you check this first.Unless you know somebody who will help you assemble the product that you wish to order..If you have a Nectar card link it with an Argos online account, where as if you pay at the till give your card to the cashier to swipe for you.”

Unit 10“Ordered in store and called couple of days later on off-chance it had arrived, helpful member of staff went through numerous boxes but it hadn't arrived and was due on a later delivery, staff member then checked availability at another store and reserved one that could i collect , which I did later the same day, very helpful all round and happy with purchase.”
“I took my wife’s six year old flute in for a service as Booths (Tony) serviced a veeeeeery old Boosey & Hawkes 400 Tenor Sax years ago (he resurrected it, utterly knackered and then, I played it. It sounded brand new!) and also my B&H Regent Clarinet (that’s another story).But, this is about a service last week - here’s what my wife had to say“My six year old flute was beginning to sound breathy and it was getting hard to play top notes clearly (I thought it was me). Tony serviced my flute last week. It sounds like a brand new flute! It sings again ?.Tony replaced a faulty key pad and sorted out the cork mechanism which was moving around.Thank you so much. I’ll be back again next year for its next service ?”Now, you don’t know my wife. She has very high standards (hence her marrying me ??) but she seldom writes reviews except in exceptional circumstances.Well done, Tony and the gang at Booths - you are fabulous!!!”
