“Well stocked shelves for all your basic needs as well as extras and indulgent items. Never had a problem with any purchase. Veg very good quality, as are meats and bread. Particular favourites - lemon sole goujons, buttermilk chicken, mousse pots, corned beef, iced buns & most cakes, potato croquettes, assorted mints, orange choc/mint choc giant buttons. The best potatoes for making jacket spuds.”

“Bright, clean, well-stocked. Sanitation stations at entrance. Had everything I needed dor my 'big' shop. Really great choices on offer, staff helpful \\u0026 friendly. Own brands are great as is selection of fresh fruit \\u0026 veg, chilled and frozen goods. Special buys always interesting and usually disappear fast. Checkouts opened \\u0026 closed as the need arises. There is a washroom and you can get your lottery tickets here.”

“A Great selection of groceries and ingredients to cook Chinese cuisines. Would love to see more Korean ingredients in larger size :) The frozen selections such as dim sum , dumplings and desserts are of good variety. The chilled aisles have fresh produce such as vegetables and tofu. They also have fresh roast meat and very delicious baked buns. A taste of home close to home.”

“I moved into altrincham recenelty . I had forgotten my wallet last week whilst I was in a hurry to pick up my kids from school. MR tariq was so helpful and professional he explained to me about the no means payment forum I was able to fill that and return later to pay for my fuel.”

“Tesco Extra in Altrincham is a pretty large store, it is in the town centre, with a rival supermarket nearby, a poor branch of Sainsbury's which I actually had to pass to get here.The store is really large, especially for a town centre location, it has multiple bridges going into the store, I did initially get lost working my way in and somehow ended up going in through the employee entrance, the main entrance, however, seems to be through a sheltered car-park and then up a very steep travelator or a lift.The checkout and payment system seemed to be much easier to use than other stores, while they still have the handheld devices to scan as you shop (sadly they don't have a mobile app similar to Sainsbury's and ASDA), it seemed to be a newer interface on both the tills and the scanners, which made them quicker and easier to use - it looked better too, everything was clearer which I liked.The facilities in the store are good, there is also a Vision Express opticians as well as a Tesco Mobile Shop and Cafe.The staff around the store seemed friendly and happy to help, and they did have a good selection of products.I do find their booze area could have been managed better, as well as one aisle, they seemed to have different bottles on random corners, they could have been more together, sadly I couldn't find my favourite brand of rum, Dead Man's Fingers in stock.4* - Good store overall, getting in and out the store could be easier, especially for pedestrians. The to-go food area could also be slightly more extensive for a store of its' size, and also didn't include a coffee machine.”

“Sainsbury's in Altrincham is a good supermarket, it's located in the town centre, with a large car-park, facilities inside include a Starbucks, Argos, Lloyds Pharmacy and a Sushi Gourmet counter. While it isn't the most modern of Sainsbury's locations in terms of appearance, the store was clean, I also liked how they had bags at the entrance for those using Sainsbury's Smartshop, this is such a simple thing to do but many supermarkets seem to forget this, so I'm glad they do this here. The selection is generally pretty good in most areas including dairy, free-from, beverages and alcohol. In certain areas, I don't find the labels to be clear, especially where many items of the same/similar range are packed together, I actually struggled to find an item which was right in front of me at first, because of this. 4* - Good supermarket in Altrincham town centre, but with many good supermarkets within Altrincham it has to do more in order to compete, I think it's doing that. This store has improved so much from my visit in 2017, where I planned to never return here.”

“Wanted to say myself and my son have just been in Tesco cafe and the lady serving on the til in the cafe is so nice, friendly and polite. Really lovely. The other staff all seemed really nice too and food liked and tasted lovely”

“Great little Tesco’s in the middle of Hale. Good for getting your essential shopping. Good parking right outside and plenty of shops nearby. This is an original building which has been made into a store. Well laid out with friendly staff. Wheelchair access and facilities for disabled people. I pop in here for my bits and bobs whenever I am in the area. I highly recommend this little shopping place.”
