“A reasonable-sized store, with plenty of the product range in stock. Get deals for dried fruit and nuts, and flapjacks, you won't find them cheaper or better tasting anywhere, 39p each, and they're a good size too. Always look out for a bargain as there's often a really good deal on everyday items.”

“I am old and disabled, went to Sainsbury's in Sale on 9 the Jan intentionally to use their mobility scooter to help with my shopping. Unfortunately it was taken by another customer. The staff at the customer service desk asked a member of staff to help me. In a wheelchair with a fitted trolley I did my shopping with John (the kindest shop assistant I have ever known).
Very surprised and delighted by the level of help from Sainsbury's, I decided to write this feedback to share my grateful feelings for their excellent customer service. In truth I have been with Tesco for more than 25 years, they offered me no help when no mobility scooter was available to me two days ago. Well done Sainsbury's! You are better than Tesco a lot!!!!”

“Never had any problems at this store other than a period of dysfunctional self cash outs. Staff always friendly and helpful, some clearance bargains useful at sensible discounts. I was taken aback that the cashier handed over a fistfull of free plastic carrier bags to a lady in front of me, very annoying since personally I go all the way to avoid using any, so what's the point when people do this?”

“Most of the staff are polite and friendly. Personally I think it was a mistake for them get the self service card-payment-only check ins, as hardly anyone ever uses them. Even people who pay by card, and who don't purchase any petrol, or cigs and alcohol from behind the counter. I swear people just prefer having the staff bag all their weekly shopping up for them, because they're too lazy to do it themselves. There are now less staff on the counters, because the self service machines have replaced them, so queues are now even longer during busy times.”

“We usually go to Tesco to do grocery, there are many other options including Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Home Bargain, and M&S, yet this Tesco is our preferred option.
It closes at 10:00 pm”
