“A perfectly decent Sainsbury's located literally in the heart of Walthamstow, my only issue is their ridiculously early closing time of 8:30pm. Considering there's a Lidl a two minute walk away that closes at 10pm you'd think they'd extend the opening hours. With all the new housing that's been built around the market area I'm certain there would be demand...”

“Amazing low prices and great quality, why would you do your weekly shop anywhere else ?Maybe the brands aren't the same as you are used to but every new brand i have tried has been a great taste and amazing value.Metal trolleys outside or smaller plastic wheelie baskets inside.Plenty of self service tills so no big queues at just 2 checkouts.Very clean and tidy store”

“It is very good shop. Near my house. All products are available. Local offers and the local shop for the area. Staff are really kind and helpful and are always available. The bakery is fresh as they get baked freshly everyday. I love it! It is the best!”

The stores are adept at promptly restocking items, ensuring no shelf remains empty. Additionally, the staff members are not only approachable and friendly but also extremely supportive. It’s important to note that negative reviews often reflect brief, isolated experiences and don’t accurately represent the overall staff demeanor, particularly when there’s little to no interaction involved. Moreover, I want to highlight a specific staff member, Vidhi, who I believe deserves recognition or a raise. Assuming she’s a manager, given her confident demeanor, I encountered her last Wednesday morning. She was diligently restocking shelves when I approached her and demonstrated both friendliness and an impressive work ethic.”

“Great shop. This shop is more cheaper than tesco. Tesco does not have eggs but this shop has everything, milk, eggs and cheaper than tesco. Great customer service.”

“Co-op offers excellent value for members, with weekly deals through the members app. The discounts are genuinely useful, especially on essentials. Only drawback is being limited to just two offers at a time—would be great to have more flexibility. Still a solid local shop choice.”

“Mid-way between a high end deli and a convenience store, the SPAR on Orford Road AKA Eat 17 is a great local grocery store if you belong to a six figure tax bracket. Cheap home-brand products are few and far between, but if your mate in finance came back from Ibiza and reckons they've found their new favourite brand of luxury Greek crisps, they probably stock them here for 10 quid a pop. Lovely staff, good deli and meat counter.”

“It's very small and doesn't have the best selection of products, but the staff (including the security) are always very nice. Give them a raise, especially to the amazing cashier that speaks French apart from English.”

“I mean, it's a petrol station. That also sells some basics, at a reasonable price.Theres a Tesco express 4 minutes walk north, and a tesco extra an 8 minutes walk south.I'm by no means Tesco's biggest fan, but this garage is pretty convenient.”

“The store is always have items in stock. The staff are helpful too. I like going there in the morning before the rush hour. The shop is small but very well managed. They have self checkouts now which has reduced long queue. They have a coffee machine too. A cash machine is outside of the store.”
