Before lockdown the menu was extensive with panini, focaccias etc .Now, for a vegetarian wanting a sandwich lunch, only one is available. For some inexplicable reason the egg sandwich was removed although it remains on the afternoon tea menu. The soup which used to be good is now thin and tasteless. I've been coming here for years and would like to continue but there are so many better and cheaper cafes in the area.

I recently visited Squires in Twickenham as my local Squires sadly does not have a very large selection of indoor plants. The quality of plants was very good- not always the case in garden centres that mainly focus on outdoor plants. All the staff were helpful, including the cafe staff. Grace who is in charge of indoor plants really stood out. She was very insightful, taking the time to talk me through the care of specific houseplants. She was incredibly knowledgeable while also being really friendly- five stars!

Love their indoor plant range and wide variety of pots. This is of course the place that you need to visit if you want to buy someone a small thank you, birthday or christmas gift. They also have a wide range of fluffy slipers. Best surprise of today's shopping.

Everyone I know loves Squire's. It's a great place to go if you have something in mind to get, or to just pop in for a browse. It's best around Christmas, but good all year.Any plants/pots I've bought have been good quality and reasonably priced.Always worth a visit if you're in the area.

The cafe needs to up its game. Not due to the quality of its food and drink, which are both acceptable; but because the system of ordering is little short of chaos. Do you queue? Do you sit and wait for service? In all honesty I'm still not sure! I had to eventually go and find someone to order what we wanted after about 20 minutes. The clearly very stressed staff had no idea we were there, but even once they did were unsure who should serve us.A poor elderly lady next to us simply wanted to pay, but was continually ignored for all the time we were there.Sort the cafe or shut the cafe Squire's. It's not a pleasant experience at the moment.

Visited your Twickenham branch today to have a drink and a snack - scones crumbled to next to nothing but what was worse was the two overbearing management staff shouting derogatory remarks and instructions to the waiting staff. The cafe was not busy and in fact half empty due to holidays meaning there was no pressure on these people. We found this unnecessary and off putting- as in Years gone by when staff cannot manage they bully. We reassured our waiter that he had done nothing wrong but he still looked dejected. May we suggest these staff attend a customer services course and get proper management training

Went into squires in Twickenham yesterday. It's absolutely lovely, clean, and tidy plants are well watered, which in other gardens centres normally are crispy dry

Nicely laid out garden centre with helpful staff. We ate in the café and were very pleased with our food. We ordered a jacket potato with coronation chicken and a side salad fully expecting the potato ? to have just a bit of garnish on the side of the plate however we were amazed when it arrived with a full plate of salad ?. The staff kindly boxed up our additional salad to take away. It was also nice to find that the salad had a generous helping of dressing when many places don't put on any. The smoothies were excellent and very filling mine shone here was a Squireberry very tasty would highly recommend

Great garden centre local to me. Quality plants and shrubs, real good quality....some nice gift ideas in-store too, I've bought several presents there over the years, they were one of the first stockists of Yankee candles back in the day before they became commonplace.if you want budget friendly plants probably not the place for you, it can be a little expensive.

This a great store. You need a few hours at least. Plenty of options and help on hand.
