“Lovely produce, apples in great condition. I have noticed they are quite bruised in Tesco lately. Will try from here again even though its further away and parking is difficult ?”

“I was rushing last week and needed a member of staff to hold my dog whilst I ran in for an important bunch of flowers present for someone who needed it. I was grateful to him for doing it even though he said he was frightened of dogs. Thanks :)”

“Hello all,Read this review before choosing this place as your local Evri shop. This shop maybe your First Stop for other groceries but not for Evri parcel.I would like to explain the actual issue with the Evri parcel that you may be thinking of diverting or deliver to this local shop for collection/return.I went to check that why they didn’t receive my diverted parcel, the explanation of course didn’t make much sense in a contractual terms with Evri service. The shop will only receive parcels if you have chosen them as your first and direct collection/delivery location. This way the shop is paid a commission for it, and they will happily serve the purpose. If you chose to divert the parcel, then the shop will not receive it, they tell the driverer off, will not receive and it will be send back to sender. The main reason is the commission fee as the commission is paid to the driver not to the shop.I asked the guy if they don’t receive diverted parcel then it would be helpful to write on their description so people won’t be hassled to divert this address, and Evri shouldn’t list them as diversion address.I am following this case with Evri to make sure the description for this local Evri is added and people shouldn’t be mislead, and to investigate the case on this address as local Evri shop/point if they are complying with the contractual terms. It would be helpful that this location shouldn’t be listed for diversion at all or should be limited to few services that they actually provide. As much as I could see the guy was just trying to explain that the main reason was no commission paid for diverted parcels, so they don’t accept them either. I acknowledged his reasons but encouraged him to get Evri to update their description. On other occasions I have noticed that they refuse to serve as collection point for return parcel, they put size and weight restrictions on parcels, again even if they have restriction, it is simple, they can just write it.I am sure there is contractual term that Evri provides to local shops comply, which I will find and get to the bottom of it, and Evri has to sort it out.I contact few other local shops in the area that provide similar service, they completely said opposite, and they confirmed that they will receive diversion parcels too.Bottom line, I request the owner to be transparent and get their details sorted on Evri, and also put it out clear bold that they won’t accept diversion parcels, it is a lot helpful.I am not interested in leaving negative comment on such matters, hope my review helps others to avoid selecting this shop as their diversion and save the owner another hassle for explaining random reasons that aren’t factual.Note: I asked the owner how much commission they get for delivered parcels, which he answered £0.40, I offered him I pay £1 for diversions, there we go, better off than Evri, but he didn’t accept it.People chose a local Evri diversion for a reason if the service is not provided here, then best to be known to people in details, leaving negative review isn’t going to resolve the matter.I am petitioning the concern directly to Evri for this local shop.”

“Very friendly staff, this review is not based on one experience but hundreds of visits to this shop for the last few years. Staff members go out of their way to help customers out and make th feel welcome. Just today a member of staff went to back of the shop to check if there's any watermelon! Another day another young member of staff gave me some friendly advice about ice lollies! The manager is super friendly too.”

“Friendly clean, open at unsociable hours and well-stocked. Only frustration is the usual practise of selling items at prices over the RRP which is often marked on the item. But you have to accept you're paying for convenience. Perfect for those essentials late in the evening on a Sunday.”

“A great place to do your shopping, but also for buying lunch in this work from home era. There is parking and a cash machine. There's always a good bargain for snacks and their sandwiches are by far my favourites for having lunch. It is just a The automatic till always helps and there is a hand sanitising station just after the entrance. The fun part of this co-op is there is a community ad section where you can post any ad, I've seen room rental to babysitting there. There is also a battery recycling bin close to where the baskets are where I usually dispose of my batteries!”

“M&S manage to maintain a good selection of food & wine offerings. Great Bakery dept. Must compliment them on the new unpackaged/ loose fresh fruit & vegetables system although take a little longer to shop it save on plastics. Plus the installation of containers for plastics. (WELL-DONE ) Staff are always helpful. My only problem is sometimes out of stock levels, especially on wines, no excuse should get projections of take up correct. Good paring available.STOP PRESS March 17th 20, things were mad today because of the Coronavirus, some shelves were empty. Not because no stock available mainly because of crazy buying. Plenty of wine.Let’s hope for better times.”
