I wish I can give them 0 stars, unprofessional staff, very poor service, been there for one hour but still not been seen by someone. And I left the bank without being served. This was the second time, changes need to be made to staff.

Metro in Romford, is a friendly modern bank that offers much more than just selling you credit card's and holding your money, I found them very helpful and don't give you all that frath to access your account to resolve issues.

Absolutely useless! Walked in at 10:30 AM and managed to be seen by an advisor at nearly 4 PM. most of the time the branch was empty with a few customers occasionally walking in, still took them 5 hours to provide the service. Bye bye Metro Bank! Switching the bank!

Very bad customer service. I have been to the branch today after five years. They still have typical excuse of staff shortage(2 staff members were sitting on the cashiers desk and starring at the computer screen though). I had to wait for an hour and half and at the end manager and staff both don?t have a clue how to deal with the issue i have with my bank account. Please stay away from romford branch. Its a complete waste of time.

Avoid this unprofessional bank, they do not care about their customers. Metro bank disrespected me and wasted my time, they really deserve all the low reviews on here. I just called them and after 30 minutes of waiting they hang up on me. Do Not waste your time, use a different bank. Customer service is poor. When I went to the branch the manager was some young 24 year old who has no clue what he was doing, he was flirting with one of the workers whilst I was setting up my account. I was told by Zara to go to her with any questions, but she never responds to my emails and has never called me after promising to call me back. Every time I call in to proceed with my switch application I am told I will be called back and they never call back.

Struggling to understand how my 20 minute wait somehow turned into over an hour wait, simply to open a bank account?I asked multiple times on updates where I was told that I would need to wait 5 minutes more which was cool but how do you expect me to use your services in the future when your serving times are ridiculously slow and trash. I'll be taking my banking elsewhere.Stay far far away.

Super inefficient. There are 5 people serving and they cannot manage 1 customer waiting for a safe deposit visit. The actual visit takes 10 minutes. The waiting time is around 1 hour when you only have one person in front of you. Management, are you managing? Appalling...

The worst bank i have ever used, appalinf service and they make you wait 1 hour every time. All staff just sit around chit chatting, whilst there are around 3-4 ppl waiting

Not recommended! Always make me wait too long. There are like 4 people at the counter lots of people standing (10+) in line but only one counter is working always! It is just too much. Just close my account. Not worth it!

The worst experience ever! I have been one year banking there. The customer service is terrible all the time, the way they refer to you is not kind and also you have to wait too long in comparison with other banks like Barclays or Nation Wide. I had to change my card bank three times because never worked, always the notes machine and the printer at the cashier aren?t working properly. I tried to use the coin machine every week for a year and just twice it was working, every the week they are repairing it. Also, the the app has failed several times this year... It is ridiculous.I closed my account it took 40 minutes for the procedure because of the printer. It was for the best, not recommended at all, and for me the worst bank.

Appalling customer service. Went to open an account on Dec 14th in branch and was informed they need to do additional checks and will call within 72 hours and arrange a 2nd appointment to come back into branch. It's now the 4th Jan and still no call. Guess they don't want people to bank with them.
