Dear Santander,I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the behavior of one of your staff members who wrongly accused a JD Sports member of GBH. This staff member's actions were utterly disgraceful and have caused significant harm to an innocent individual.The JD Sports member in question was simply doing their job of protecting the store and a female colleague from an aggressor who looked like he was going to lay hands on her. However, this staff member accused the JD Sports member of GBH, despite not knowing the whole situation and having no knowledge of what had occurred.To make matters worse, this staff member then proceeded to exaggerate the situation to a police officer, creating a false narrative of events that was inconsistent with JD Sports CCTV footage and the accounts of witnesses who were present. As a result of her actions, a 19-year-old boy was arrested for a crime he did not commit, causing distress and trauma for him and his family.I find it absolutely appalling that a member of your staff would behave in such a way, causing defamation of character to another store's member on the high street for no reason. I believe that Santander should stand for more than this, and I urge you to take immediate action to remove this staff member from her position.In conclusion, I hope that this incident will serve as a wake-up call for your company to ensure that all staff members are properly trained in the importance of accuracy and accountability in their actions and words. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.

Worst branch I?ve ever visited due to one person working there. Was ignored and then made to wait 40 minutes to be seen. Eventually I was told to go into one of the meeting rooms only for the same women to come in and ask me to leave just so she could use the room to speak with her mate

My favourite bank in England. (Woolwich branch)I've been away from England for the past few years due to the 2019 COVID pandemic. When I returned I had a few older 20 pound notes.All banks (Lloyd, NatWest, Halifax) and the post office refused to exchange for me because I did not have an account with them.The very kind reception and one of the bank representatives at Santander took the time to hear me out. They kindly checked the notes I had and exchanged them for the new polymer ones which were in use.I want to reach out and thank them both for their empathy and kind "non-customer " Support to me. You Saved me a lot of trouble and I am grateful. I wish other banks could show the same care that you did and if I ever have to open an account in England; The Santander bank will be my choice. Been with Santander for almost 10 years now and they are fab. On days where I have to visit a branch, the customer service is exemplary and they could not do more to help. I do hope that the branches do not close any time soon as there's a difference between using a phone to speaking to someone in person. I have two accounts with other banks, but Santander's is the best IMO for customer service and interest.

Absolutely FUMING!Completely neglected to tell me that the lady that was supposed to be seeing me at an appointment was now working from home and therefore unavailable. This appointment was made WEEKS ago. My husband took this day off specifically just so i could come to this appointment without taking my 6 month old daughter along. They have my email address. They have my phone number. Why they couldn't take five minutes to cancel the appointment baffles me.

Questioned me, a businesses owner as to why I was depositing cash everyday. If it?s protocol then fair enough but this was just rude and I suspect somewhat prejudice

OK. But no parking facilities.not good for convenience. 4 cash counters for taking peoples money but two of them working.Waiting time could reduce. but just ok to banking for a lazy day I suppose. Not my cup of tea.

Extremely slow service, only 1/2 people at till. No one at desk. Slots are always â??booked upâ?, but no one there. Worst of all, staff donâ??t know anything about Santanderâ??s services, they just tell you to call them. ð???

I, like many others, were tempted by their current account. My experience at a different branch of theirs was, for lack of a better term, unprofessional - but I had high hopes this was just an isolated incident.
As I stepped into this branch, one Saturday morning, I realized it was not.
This branch operates more like a market than a bank: people pushing about to get in the queue, greeters playing on their tablets instead of assisting customers. I stood there, next to the greeter, trying to get his attention in regards to making an appointment, but apparently candy crush is more important.
I therefore left, and continued my search for a more professional bank. There was another nearby that suited me fine.

Terrible service 5 people walking around just talking doing nothing at 2 at counter while more then 15 people are waiting I waited 30 min still not been seen left came back about 20 min later nd same.people who was in quee were still there
