I actually quite like the layout of the store it is easy to go around. I found my favourite chilli sauce and bought 8 of them so great! Only problem with this store, and pretty much all Iceland stores if I am honest, is the customer service. I get you want to get through customers quick, especially when there are long queues, but the staff on the tills NEVER wait until the previous customer has taken their shopping off the tills before scanning yours and rushing you too. I never understand why. Barely a hello and thank you either. This happened in this store, Walworth road... even Dalston when I was in that area. In that one the guy scanned the items and handed them to me through the little hole where the card reader is. Madness. I will still come to the old kent road store for my chilli sauce but the customer service seriously needs working on

Had 3 members or staff arguing with me over using their own plastic bag recycling box, telling me I cannot use it. Even though the plastic is collected from food warehouse packaging and the sign on the green recycling box promoting the use of it for recycling plastic bags. Seems food warehouse need to align their staff on recycling policies so they won?t need to shout at customers again. Shame on food warehouse

i used this shop after a year and i was shocked to find some of the staff so rude when i pointed out lynx was priced at £3 but you could but 3 for £10 i was just dismissed as some who is old and dont know what i am talking about

As soon as I went in there was a large freezer cabinet with loads of reduced to half price (Christmas stock) items from one end of it to the other. I booked in lol, filling my trolley up, for freezer happiness lol.When I got to the check-out 100% of the items and I repeat they were labelled (75% of them anyway) as being 1/2 price were actually 100% of their respective price. They all had to be returned to the freezer and I said it was wholly misleading to the supervisor, to leave the stickers up. It led to more customers, wrongly buying things. That, when management well knew that the prices were full-price, not half!The manager knew this full well and had directed it be left just as. He himself I was told, was not on duty.We did scan through just 7 items, mutually thinking they were 1/2 price; wrong. Only when I got home and checked the receipt did I then see that they too were full price (being 3 for £5 + 1).It's the most blatant example of scamming customers I've seen in a major retailer in recent years - rendering a 0 out of 10. I repeat, all the items were replaced in the first and most prominent freezer - with no alterations or pricing removals made.

I came here Tuesday 5th December evening around 5:50pm looking for a particular item. There was an Asian male worker who I believe is the manager filling the pizza fridge I approached him politely asking him if he could help me find what I was looking for. he pointed so I looked where he pointed and couldn?t see it I then walked back and said ?excuse me? to which he raised his voice and responded ?YESSSS? in such a rude tone as if I was bothering him and again brushed me off to the next isle where I was looking originally looked again and couldn?t find my item so I left. Very rude I rarely come to island anyway but gave it a chance. He triggered my anxiety by raising his voice at me and I left very upset. I won?t be returning. I?ll give Lidl my money. Much cheaper and more fresh food

Only one till open, and a queue thats is very long. 30 mins wait time. Get it sorted management. Staff too busy with packing and customer service is non existent!

The parking machines have been there for a while but were not previously used. I was not aware that parking rules had changed. Staff on the till did not ask me to validate my receipt. Over zealous parking fines for shoppers puts me off returning to stores.

I do love Iceland as it was always affordable but find it is getting very expensive in comparison to other local retailers.
