Worst Royal Mail I?ve ever been to. Rude staff, make up random rules that aren?t on their website or anywhere until you get to the shop and wasted your time. Never enough staff. Awful

There seems to be a theme of losing passports with this sorting office. I expect they are selling them on the black market and the ID being used to take out loans etc. Unfortunately I am one of them. The item was tracked to the sorting office and then disappeared!

Opening hours on Google haven?t been updated. Now only open 8am-10am means no one with a normal job can actually collect parcels anymore

Unacceptably small window of opportunity to collect in lieu of delivery.

This place is the epitome of the result of asset stripping and privatisation. In a few short years, it's gone from an invaluable, convenient local resource to being pretty much useless and a source of massive aggravation and frustration. 8am-10am for parcel collections is completely unworkable for the vast majority of working people, so you are beholden to their equally useless delivery and redelivery service which can 'miss you' if you're standing on your front step waiting. I expect the overworked underpaid delivery staff probably have no choice but to pretend to make deliveries in order to meet their quotas or targets for the day and keep their workload manageable for the next day. I don't blame them personally, they're victims of chronic mismanagement too. A member of staff told me off the record that this location, and many other local delivery offices will be closed shortly and replaced with a large single centre somewhere in SE1, inside the congestion zone. ????. You couldn't make it up, but hey at least the shareholders continue to get richer, that's what matters now right!

Staff are really nice but upper management are insane if the think that people are free between 8-10am weekdays to collect parcels, this might work if it was 18.00-20.00 but that might make sense and this lot have abandoned anything resembling sense.

This is possibly the worst place in London, if not the world. It is an interesting example of how bad customer service can be. The opening hours listed on Maps are wrong - see photo attached. (They are now even more antisocial). Avoid going here if you can. If they have your parcel you may have no choice.

Royal Mail are charlatans of the highest order. They take payment for delivery, yet claim that they have attempted to deliver your items, even though you are at home awaiting delivery. So in reality, they take payment and expect the recipient to attend a sorting office and collect the parcel in person..which I am now aware is open 2 hours a day!I personally don't use Royal Mail and will now ensure that any future parcels I receive, are delivered by a more reputable, honest and trustworthy courier.

Royal mail is a joke, they don't deliver our packages, and they don't have delivery times. only 2 hours a day. rude people should be ashamed to use their royal name.

Echoing other people?s reviews on here. Get an email saying they will deliver between 10:30am and 12:30pm, only to revive another email ten minutes later at 8:30am to say they tried to deliver but there was nobody home and will redeliver the next working day. Next day same thing. You then either have to re-arrange the delivery or go collect. But if you want to collect, they now have ridiculous opening times of 8am-10am every weekday, and until 12pm on a Saturday. Which makes for massive queues and just generally inconvenient for anybody who works Monday-Friday. And of course because the opening times have still not been updated on Google I found this out the hard way. Makes it pointless paying for next day delivery as it will take at least 3 days if not more to actually be able to receive your parcel.

NOT open Sundays. I've just been and they are definitely closed. Opening hours shared on Google are incorrect.
