Has one of the worst services compared to other branches. Closed for over one hour, very elderly woman who can hardly stand has nowhere to sit. Please try other branches. Every time i have come here, it is either closed or machine not working. Worst branch by far.

Some Staff are very rude with customers at this branch. Was there to deposit money into my account and apparently the cash pay in machine was not working but had no signs to the effect. So I went to use it and this male staff just started shouting remove your money and keep shouting. He even was coming ring to my face.How rude a staff.

I was shocked at how rude the customers are in this branch. I think it?s because there?s an expectation that the service will be poor, which it?s not. I found the staff to be helpful, polite and capable. I feel that if you are rude you should expect a loss of respect from the staff.

The female staff (sorry I didn?t notice her name, she looks like a manager tho) there is surprisingly very polite, understanding and helpful. By ?surprisingly? I mean after reading so many bad reviews my expectation was really low initially.

These people shut the bank 4 hours before closing time they write on the door windows closed at 1:30 today pathetic as I travelled here saying its open on Google but no they put up random closing times taking the pis.s taking advantage of the covid situation to go home early when its not even a lockdown period

The customer service in Peckham is diabolical. The staff need to be sent on several training courses advising 1) who the customer is 2) how to be helpful i.e actually do your job non combatively and 3) how to be polite and courteous - basic customers service skills. Peckham is a pretty grim area add the staff depict this also. Staff are automatically on the defensive and deflect any responsibility. There are one or two exceptions but the few times that i have been to this branch (I try to avoid it unless I'm extremely desperate) the majority of the time staff are horrible.

The cash machine took £1000 that they didn't go into my account, took my card and then broke down. the rest of the money was taken out of different parts of the machine. I then went to pay £1600 to the cashier and she said I gave her £1550? What is going on. They said they would count the money and call me the next morning. I'ts the next afternoon and I'm still waiting.I have been trying to get through to the branch all morning.I have banked here a few times and never had this problem before. I will have to call head office and ask them to check the cameras. If the story changes my review will change.

I have been with Halifax for more 15 years. I often enjoy the service I received elsewhere. But the branch in Peckham has never improved. Today I went to bank, very messy allocation, three self service machines aren?t working, two guys were chatting next to self service machine instead of repairing; staff overall not organised and arrogant. Appeared very lack of engagement and interaction with customer.

The staff at this branch thinks that they work for DHSS, are pourly trained with no respect or curtesy for customers,let alone about a smile.One of them never heard about NS&I bank so left me think that his general education is 0.
