My previous visits to this store 2 years ago were fine, but I had a poor customer service experience during my recent visit. It was possibly because of the bank holiday weekend, but there was no help visible in the computer department to answer a quick question about a wireless mouse and keyboard. Later, at click and collect, I was told they didn't have a carrier bag for my new laptop. The cashier didn't even try to find a second-hand bag or other alternative when I told her I wasn't comfortable walking on the busy street with just a laptop box. It's hard to imagine a large store had no bags available during a busy shopping weekend, or they couldn't improvise to help a customer. A really poor experience -- I will go to a different branch next time.

Tommy (204) needs to take up some customer service lessons. Poor attitude, facial expressions and body language. Didn?t seem like he wanted to help. And was very sarcastic.

Accused of tampering, laughed at by the manager ? awful experience (24 July 2025)
I bought a TV from Currys on 22nd July, only to discover one of the wall-mount screw holes was faulty - meaning I couldn?t hang the TV. The other holes are perfect, clearly showing it?s a manufacturing fault.
I brought it back expecting a quick exchange or repair. Instead, I was accused of tampering with the product. The manager, Joe, didn?t ask when or where it was purchased, didn?t check my Care Plan, and made zero effort to resolve the issue.
To make matters worse, he mocked me when I asked why I was being treated with such animosity - saying, ?I?m animosity Joe.? He also had the nerve to suggest I should buy a wall bracket just to prove the TV couldn?t be mounted.
This wasn?t just poor service - it was disrespectful, dismissive, and unprofessional. I left the store with a faulty product and no help whatsoever. Absolutely appalling.
