Terrible customer service. There were three guys working today and only one of them bothered to go on the till, despite a queue of 20 people. I gave up in the end - will buy what i want for the same price (but new) on amazon.

Customer customer service is a disgrace,from their supervisorhe tries to blame the company system constantly trying to argue with me..Felt like the guy didn't wanna sell the product wanted to buy an I macThere is keyboard and mouse. Terrible customer service. Stressful experience. When a customer is scammed in an online order and wants to return the order via local store , all the customer gets is absolutely no helpNever ever going to buy anything from cex ever again.Might as well pay slightly more to other retailers for smooth service!

I bought a laptop to and I was told on the day the battery will stay up for eight hours but it happen it wasn't so took it back to get a refund or for them to sought a new battery the supervisor KC was very helpful and send an email to the manager to get a new battery rather than refund still waiting for the manager to get back to me.

I ordered and paid for an item online and as I needed the camera lens for the coming weekend, I opted for it to be kept in store and went to pick it up. Despite the fact that I arrived while they were closing, the staff made the time to locate my purchase and gave me the time I needed to fit it to my camera and make sure I was happy with it. The lens was well wrapped up and put in a crossbody carrier bag. I found the staff both friendly and knowledgeable about the products which they sold which is not always the case with tech shops. I was impressed at how they continued to serve me while they continued to close the shop and needless to say I was out of the store within 5 minutes with my purchase. Had it been anywhere else, they would have told me to go back the next day. While there are many CeX stores around the UK, I I know that they do vary when it comes to customer service. So far, I have found this store and the Camden store to be customer service motivated and if available, would prefer to pick up from them than any other store. Needless to say, I will be going back to the store again and hope that my first experience was typical rather than a one off fluke. As I will very likely use this store again. I will simply amend my review accordingly when the time comes If my review is unchanged from this initial review then i would definitely recommend to anybody that needs that extra help before purchase and help to pick the item that best suits their needs.
