I witnessed a terrible kind of bullying of a more elderly customer. The kind that twists what's happened to get sympathy from others, while knowingly targeting a person. We all know the kind. The type of person who somehow gets away with abusive behaviour through manipulating others to attack someone. Was as nice as you can to the rest of us to kind of justify it. The person was so young, it's the only pass you can give them. May they much improve. Definitely a new member of staff. Apart from being roped in as backup in this incident, the rest of the staff the rest of the time are great and helpful pretty much every time I have gone to everyone there, so can not believe they are similar, but maybe should be wary of situations going forward just in case they've misjudged their colleague. The situation definitely tainted the store that day

Could smile more. Too much in a hurry to rush people out and have private conversations. Not the old school customer service representatives but the 2 younger ladies talking about how cute the delivery guy was. No, hello. No, nothing. Very ghetto vibes. But if other customers they smile and pretend. Weird vibes. Nobody walking around can I help you. Or are you ok? I'm Peckham through and through, and this is not how this card shop used to be. Miss the guy who pumps Mum's wife's kids' balloons.

Teach your colleagues to engage more and go on the shop floor and smile and stop being so hostile, especially to men of colour we do you no harm but to buy and support thr business. But to see you smile up with others hurts tbh. Sad, really, and have unprofessional chats in front of me like I'll find it funny is wrong. Remain professional at all times as i could be the secret shopper you'll never know!

The staff is so rude

Went to the Peckham store today and I must say that the service was a disgrace.
The behaviour of the manager and the staff to a customer who asked a question.
How long is 6 meters?
The manager said that she was not trained and was very condescending to the customer.
The customer said are customers not allowed to ask staffs for help.
The manager continued to belittle the customer.
The customer left the store and the manager chase after her and demanding for the customer to return as if she wanted to attached her.
There was clearly some issues here with this manages behaviour towards this customer.
I thought managers were to show kindness and helpfull to customers.
For a big company like the card factory this is a huge behaviour issue that need sorting out.
What is customer service now if you can't ask a question??

Very disgusted by your service today ,no courtesy and no mindfulness to customers at all !I went there and picked a number 1 helium balloon and was rudely told the machine has been switched off even before i said what i wanted ..as if I'm a dummy I don't know how the heliums are filled in with air ...the manager was also there and was solving a case of a bursted balloon and agreed to blow the helium for her but when I kindly requested I was brushed off and left to talk to myself ...remember customers are coming to spend the money to buy things from there !!

It was busy at the shop when I went there to get balloons for my daughter?s birthday. I was impressed by how the male staff managed to multitask between a queue at the till and getting the balloons done. Super efficient!

Went to this store today with a helium balloon aged 11 that I bought last year still in packaging (not been opened with receipt inside )as I misplaced it.. mind you same balloons are still on sale in store I just wanted to change it for the age 12.. met with quite an abrupt lady staff member stating its been over 28days so can?t help you! It?s a £2.99 balloon some discretion and helping hand would have helped as I was having a rough day as it is!

I went into card factory in Peckham today 5th of May and asked for a pink number 1 candle and number 6 I was given 18 instead of 16 the staff needs to pay more attention when dealing with customers in stead of talking to each other at till point
