“Sainsbury’s is one of the more reliable supermarkets around. Stores are usually clean and well laid out, so it’s easy to find what you need without wandering too long. The fresh produce is generally good quality, and they keep a wide range of everyday essentials as well as a few more premium options if you want them.

Prices sit somewhere between budget chains and higher-end supermarkets, which feels fair for the quality. The own-brand ranges are decent value, and the meal deal is always a safe option. Staff are usually helpful if you need assistance, and the self-checkouts make getting in and out quick.

It’s not perfect – some branches get very busy at peak times and stock can run low on popular items – but overall it’s a solid place to shop with a good balance of convenience, choice, and quality.”

“Typical Lidl , pretty much all the same, it's a bit like a Tardis bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside though this one. Got everything I needed for 2/3 days of lunches and nibbles. Good price and value as usual as expected. I only saw 2 staff on the shop floor but everything seemed to be running smoothly.”

“Staff are really helpful their produce is always fresh. I really like their Chestnut Mushrooms, all Salad and not forgetting their easy peelers Satsumas. I always use this store especially if I have forgotten to get something and if I can't get to the larger Supermarkets.”

“They finally have self service. Good selection of items too. The potatoes and baked goods are positioned in a way that is tricky to reach them (behind awkward barriers so you would need to stretch for them and they are partially hidden). I think that’s mostly to do with the cramped store, not the widest aisles. There were enough staff around to get assistance if needed, unlike my local store which never seems to have staff.”

“Streatham, Very clean shop, easy to get around. Fresh produce good and well within date, frozen bargains, rear end isles, never a shortage of good eggs. All staff friendly and helpful, Cashiers and security always say hello with a smile.”

“Don't forget to validate your parking before you leave the store! There's a small car park round the back.Lidl offers good value produce.The tills are generally pretty busy and so there are often queues. They do have self service checkout machines now too. It can be quicker depending on how efficient people are when they scan. Not suitable for trolleys though.There is security by the entrance/exit area.”

“Coop supermarket elevates the quality of food at Norbury, the selection is not big but has the basic products for the basic needs. I have to mention that the pastries are very tasty and fresh!”

“It’s not the greatest Sainsburys. The selection is quite limited and the aisles are a bit cramped. The staff today were really friendly especially the guy at the checkout with the beanie hat. It could be far better and is probably worth a little investment. 4.5 stars.”

I explored the store and realize it carried all the essentials one could need. The space is designed well, with self check out an option should you not want to wait. The wine selection was reasonable in price. Produce was fresh, while they can run out of some items.”
