“Had a fabulous stay at The Tower Hotel last night. We enjoyed every part of our trip from check in to check out. Firstly need to mention Magali Pergeline who organised our afternoon tea and fire pit booking. It was a little difficult to organise but from the first email from Magali everything was organised just as we wanted. Then at check in we met the fabulous Gini. She was so helpful and had us checked into our room in minutes with a lovely smile. The room, suite 1101 on 11th floor was amazing. Everything was clean and well presented. Afternoon tea was delicious and staff very attentive. Evening booked with a fire pit table at the front with views on the bridge. Food was lovely as were the cocktails. Staff very friendly and go out of their way to look after you. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Highly recommend the hotel and staff.”

“Kudos to all the staff at this store for being helpful and friendly every time I visit (which is daily). Extra shout out to Kamarul for being the happiest man in London, always a pleasure to meet someone so enthusiastic and welcoming on every visit!”

“This corner shop, as far as corner shops go, has great customer service- the staff have adjusted very well in regards to socialising and proactively developing a rapport with customers and such an attitude is very rare to see in this sector of work.

Furthermore, this particular shop is one of the few that are lagging behind the increased price changes of products, so I strongly recommend passers to make use of the competitively cheaper products there whilst they last!

This is easily among the top corner shops in London!”

“Large supermarket close to the city. Excellent transport links but most importantly a large car park for shoppers, 90min free parking. The front of the store has been redesigned and the car park is now on one level in the front of the store. The store is good size with all the usual products, lots of self checkouts but the end of the queue is awkwardly positioned and you can't always tell when a checkout is empty. There is an Argos collection point insid. There are toilets for customers.”

“Best supermarket for frozen items, milks, eggs and groceries. There are different types of ice-cream you can buy with various tastes, such as vanilla, strawberry, chocolate etc. Also lot's of desserts can be found here from small to big in size. Frozen and fresh vegetables are also available there. Additionally, all types of fizzy drinks are also there with different flavours and price range. Mostly, you can have a pleasant shopping experience.”

“Good convenience store. They have reopened from the 27th of August after refurbishment. The shop layout has been changed. The tills are at the front by the exit. They have added more shelves for extra products. Freezer section, dot doughnut cupboard has been added. There are more vegetable options now. The layout is better than before. They have removed the w/c facility though.”

“I absolutely loved this store and I go there every time after a day at uni. Everything’s on demand and the staff were quite helpful, I always get the best pork belly too. However, the reason I’m here in the comment section is just that I just can’t get rid of the bad memories I had in front of the store, I’m sorry it’s nothing to do with the store itself, but being yelled at by a group of random street guys in some Asian language is just the worst moment of a normal happy day with friends out. Of course we wanted to fight back but what if they attacked us? This is east London. There’s also times when a homeless made their dog hold a basket, I took a picture of it cos the dog is cute, and he insisted on getting money from me. It’s so unfair for the dog, and it’s an absolute harassment to a passenger. It’s sad that the daily grocery store I visit has link to such unforgettable negative experiences. I hope that the store runs well and all the security people are safe and sound.”

“Had a problem with something I bought and went back to get it exchanged and the manager did that without any problem. It was smooth and disruption free. Great staff and wonderful team.”

“It's small and handy for picking up Argos packages. It's a good supermarket if you need to grab a few things. There's not many major supermarket options in the area. Tesco and Lidl are probably the closest. There are local shops and a Cost Cutter store too. It is great to have Sainsbury as an option. What I like about this Sainsbury is that it's convenient when you need to go to the post office, as it's very close to it.”

“I went to the shop with my daughter on New Year's day, we met a really nice staff there, he was really helpful and he even gave my daughter a treat for the new year! I didn't know his name and was planning to visit back to say thanks. But since my daughter didn't feel well and we had to head back to Scotland, I missed the chance to say thanks. Hope he will see the message from here and hope he will have a great year ahead!”

“It's surprisingly large compared to other Sainsbury's Local store, it wasn't too busy. There is a good range of items here for convenience. I noticed that the shelves were being stocked and replacement items.”

“Love this tesco because the staff and security are friendly. All awesome. Ofcourse it is a tiny tesco so lacks variety and not always stocked to the fullest. The only thing I hate is that there are so many crackheads causing issues. I mean it's stepney so crackheads are everywhere. Never leave your bike inside or outside or have your phone/wallet loosely in your pockets, they will follow”

“Prices were good and the staff were nice.Security nice as well. The only thing I didn't liked is they don't have to many European food.Like sausage or Italian patisseries.”

“Been a regular customer for the past 5 years. Great store with great product variety. Staff is always nice and helpful. The best thing is the "reduced to clear" section where discounted items are put there everyday with good discounts.”

“This Sainsbury’s local is great, the staff are always very happy to help even if you make suggestions about getting various products in they usually get them! The self service checkout has improved immensely never have any problems with it also they do lots of special offers That tie in with the big Sainsbury’s so sometimes you do get value for money.! Well done to all the team because They do work really hard especially in the evenings .”

“As you would expect from a Sainsbury's Local... has most of what you would need, but some produce either completely gone before midday or not available (bakery section).”

1.8Poor17 Reviews

“Almost brand new shop, just don't understand why can't Tesco has the shelves already topped up when the shops open. Seems unfair seeing people in a rush in the morning bumping each other and the Tesco employee trying to fill the shelves. And why again with half offline checkouts in the morning at rush hour.New store, same old issues.”

“Best Tesco Express I’ve been to. Clean, nicely presented, good selection and well stocked. So much better than the one around the corner on Commercial Road. I couldn’t speak for the staff though which seems to be the main complaint.”

“I've never written a review before, I normally hate supermarkets, but I love this one! the staff are outstanding, and the atmosphere is pleasant for shopping, unlike most supermarkets which I find cramped and stressful.”
