This was the worst hotel I?ve ever stayed in. The staff was horrendous, the cleanliness of the common areas was horrendous, the room in itself was not acceptable for anyone to stay i! But great blackout drapes.

Checked in for my husband birthday. The young female at the desk was straight away rude and disrespectful. I must write this review to have my voice heard. We have never been treated by anyone in London like we were less than. I called days in advance asking for a card in the room for my husband birthday. Also a room with a view. We received nothing but a dismissive response from the front desk. That started our weekend birthday with a very negative attitude. I wrote a complaint about her and was offered a few Hilton points. Clearly the GM doesn?t care about all of their guests. I applaud your hotel on successfully pushing customers like my husband and I away. Thank you for five star service Toni, Belle, Carlo and Housekeeping.

Great stay at the Trafalgar St. James. The most perfect location for touring since shopping, museums, tube, Leicester Square, and subway stations are all within a quick walk. Our room and bathroom were pristine and the staff were quick to assist when necessary. The view from the Rooftop restaurant was awesome, as there was a St. Patti?s Day concert in Trafalgar Square one night while we were there. Breakfast and dinner were great as well. The construction noise on weekdays is real, but we napped through it one day and it didn?t negatively impact our stay.Nearby activities: 10/10Walkability: 10/10

Didn't have a room so unable to rate.The rest, absolutely great, had a great couple of hours in here. Staff very friendly and helpful....and they take cash...Happy days!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here at the beginning of our London stay and from first walking up to the doors we had a wonderful experience. Toni the door man always checked on us and made sure we had what we needed and made sure we knew the best way to get to where we were going, he was extremely helpful and kind each time we saw him. The front desk was also extremely kind. The roof top bar was amazing and all the employees were wonderful, we sat out there on a colder day and the heaters made it very comfortable and we were able to purchase some of the best wine we have ever had. The rooms were very roomy and comfortable and the beds and pillows were some of the best of the hotels we stayed at. There was construction one day that we were here but it didn?t start until later in the day so we were still able to get a full night sleep and it wasn?t overly loud, so don?t let the constriction deter you form an amazing experience. Everything is also a 10-15 min walk and there?s a bus stop across the street. 10/10 this hotel would be the top of my list to stay at again if we were to come back to London!!

We had a great experience in this hotel. We stayed two nights. The room we had was great, even if there was some construction work and the windows didn?t seem to properly close? Nevertheless everyone was really nice at the reception, in the rooftop for breakfast, and also at the reception with the staff and Toni which was really nice and helpful (during arrival and check out, he called us a taxi and helped with the luggage). Overall great experience !Rooms: Les chambres sont très confortables.

I ended up at the The Trafalgar St. James London for a couple of nights after a flight delay/reschedule. My room was surprisingly spacious with a separate sitting area (not a suite, just a very large room), and nicely equipped. If you're a tourist wanting to be in the thick of it, the location is hard to beat, right of Trafalgar Square. My only quibble was with the desk staff who refused to acknowledge my Hilton Honors Gold status.
