“The man who works in the shop is so kind and really generous with his time and seems like one of those people who genuinely wants to help people and provide solutions to problems. The shop is clean and super organised. He helped me by putting additional holes in my YSL belt and it looks amazing and fits me now perfectly. He did it as soon as I walked in the shop so I didn’t have to wait around! He also found a creative solution to the fact the belt had a lot of excess hanging, he suggested I use a black watch strap as it fits my slim belt perfectly and keeps all the excess belt tight to my body. My mum suggested the shop as she always gets her keys cut from here and it’s so fast. So overall excellent quality and services from Unique Shoe Repairs Chingford. Thank you kind Sir!”

We get to London, pretty desperate, and L'Oscar, our hotel, told us to come here. This great cobbler to the rescue! Ten minutes and then "quid" later, shoes were as good as new! He confirmed the blank keys required were available in shop for cutting and I dropped-in for the fastest key cutting service I've ever experienced. This was after an independent cobblers ruined my favourite suede Sergio Rossi boots, and then had the audacity to say there was nothing wrong with them (trying to gaslight me, in 2024)!I Googled Timpsons near me, to get a second opinion. That was when Steve confirmed my suspicions were right, and he told me he’ll try and fix the issue and that I should come back tomorrow.Sure enough I did, and sure enough he fixed the issue. On top of that, as I was so upset the day before, I wasn’t charged for the job either. Well Steve, you have a client for life and a promise is a promise. “A master with leather. We traveled from Uxbridge in Middlesex to this shop after reading other reviews and it was really worth it. My wife was given a hand made pair of leather boots from Spain by a good neighbour. Unfortunately they were too tight on her calves so we took them to shoenique to get them stretched. As soon as we entered the shop I could tell this man was a professional. One week later and now my wife can comfortably wear these beautiful boots. You would not know any different. On top of that the cost was really reasonable and came with expert advice about how to care for the boots and other leather items.
