“Visited your store on Friday and a fantastic young lady called Olivia served me. You wouldn’t have thought she had only recently joined you from her expert knowledge. Her service was superb, couldn’t do enough, and gave some good pointers on the different types of aftershave. “First & foremost after reading several reviews on this store, I think it’s important to keep in mind that this shop is a counter-service style perfume shop. This means that customers cannot just walk up to any fragrance and spray it, they actually have to have an attendant assist. Some people love this style of perfume store, others don’t.Typically, I am wary of them as I like to experience fragrance at my own pace and don’t feel comfortable with the 1:1 sales experience.However, when I walked in there was only one other customer in the shop about 45 mins before closing. Lena assisted me, and she was incredibly kind. I didn’t have a purpose to going in, I am an avid perfume fan and love experiencing new, niche fragrances. This store did not disappoint. Lena and I smelled over 20 fragrances, and chatted about the different points of each. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase or that my thoughts about a fragrance were wrong. I ended up purchasing 3 small fragrance samples that were reasonably priced between £4-5, which come in lovely little spray bottles (not dabbers) with the label, notes & a QR code to learn more about the fragrance. I discovered several new niche brands & the samples I took home were completely unique, like nothing I’d ever smelled before.I was apprehensive of the counter service experience, but ended up loving it. I’m so glad I had Lena to assist me, and I’m looking forward to returning for another smell session with her very soon! Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon!”

“I bought a full bottle of Neroli EDP after falling in love with a sample. Sometimes Neroli fragrances can be too ‘sharp’ on the nose however this is very beautiful and natural smelling. The Orange and Ylang Ylang notes are juicy but not sickly sweet, very natural smelling and I get very good performance from it along with so many compliments.I have to admit that I am very picky and love Neroli fragrances, this is in my top three now along with Floris Neroli Voyage, Van Cleef & Arples Neroli Amara. Both delivery of the sample and the main fragrance was fast, efficient and the perfume is beautifully packaged. I would highly recommend anybody who really loves fragrance to check out Czech & Speake.”
