I have been trying so hard for weeks to get an appointment with a doctor. The receptionist are so rude, one actually drop the phone on me. Very rude receptionist.

Shocking surgery. Do not register here. I tried to make an apt after being a patient for 10years and they said I was no longer registered with them. Shocking. Another time I turned up with my 6yo for her emergency apt (made same day)and they told me me it had been cancelled.

This clinic is really underrated. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable especially Practice Manager - Sharif Rahman.He has been really helpful with great passion on assisting as much as he can.It is not easy to get GP appointment especially after covid. However, People need to understand how to use NHS system.always shall calling 111 for minor medical check up before chasing down GP for an appointment. For our experience in the care we needed - New Cross health centre without a doubt is a professional GP which all staff try their best to assist the patients.That?s shame for people not acknowledged their effort. Perhaps it located where Waldron walk-in clinic (closed 5 years ago) used to be.people might still have old ideas where they can access the GP appointments on the same day.

This is by far the worst GP I have ever had. Trying to book an appointment, on hold for 1.5hrs so I finally get through and they hung up on me before I could respond. Reception staff are rude and very very un helpful

a relaxing disaster Now they can't make an appointment with the receptionists, you have to spend hours on the phone and it must be specifically at 8:00am. and at the end they give an appointment via telephone. Looking on Youtube I have felt better than what a doctor can tell me over the phone.

Properly one of the worse gps I?ve ever registered to, the receptionist are rude and unhelpful. I think at this point the receptionist are paid extra to be rude and patronising. It doesn?t even deserve a one star. The service in general is appealing and neglectful if your not constantly battling with them you will get less than minimum level of attention and care for your condition. I wouldn?t even bother registering. what a waste of time!

Thank god I left this practice!!! Clifton rise family practice can teach them a thing or two!In regards to my experience I wouldn?t even know where to start. Was registered here for many years and one thing I will say is the staff needs to cheer up! RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE and RUDE! I?ve never in my life met such rude and miserable staff. Your dealing with sick people who don?t even want to be there have compassion!And also I am completely confused as to why they even have a phone line??. It?s a miracle if you even get through

Absolutely useless doctors surgery avoid suite 3 at all costs. Do not do anything to help patients get appointment and receptionists all rude, unhelpful and clueless. Can never get an appointment to see a GP even if it's an emergency. Was always poor but even worse now. Join another surgery and avoid at all costs. Would give zero stars if possible!

*UPDATE AND EDIT from a previous 5 star review31st January 2022 10:42*The New Cross Health Centre has been extremely negligent since Dr Batra retired and changed to The Hurley Group. 5 months of fobbing off and passing the buck. I've been understanding and tolerant because of circumstances and the on-going pandemic, but enough is enough and I've reached my limit. Calling 111 has proved to be more reassuring and helpful and it's time to change to a GP surgery that works cohesively from receptionists to Doctors.There is one lady who deserves a special mention. She has been there from the beginning and was an integral part of Dr Batra's receptionist team formerly in Suite 2 before move to Suite 3. She is professional, great communication and empathy and goes above and beyond to ensure she works efficiently to the benefit of all patients.New Cross Health Centre need to strive to find solutions to help diagnose symptoms and find a cure/remedy rather than hiding behind the e-consult and operating with really basic, generic protocol and ways, therefore wasting our time and causing more stress as genuine health concerns linger on and/or go unchecked. When told by 111 that they're BLOCKED from booking appointments on behalf of patients, is when I knew what the real deal is here. Absolute disgrace *I have been a patient with Dr Batra?s surgery for 9 years. I have no complaints. However, my one only gripe is phone lines need to be sorted ASAP. It can be highly frustrating trying to get through to reception. From 8am onwards lines constantly engaged. At times, the touch tone options 1-4 to get through to right health department fail to work. Please bare in mind not everyone is privy to using service online. The old fashioned way of calling in and speaking with reception to book an appointment or make an enquiry is preferable to many. My polite suggestion is that New Cross Health Centre (Option 4) take this into serious consideration.

This GP absolutely rubbish Sense this new people took over, even the pharmacy downstairs told me they are way behind I waited 30 hours for a simple prescription. NHS Should kick this people out because they?re not there to help people. They are trying to avoid patience to send them to A&E or call 111.Absolutely shamble

I have been on hold for 1.5 hours and "number one in the queue" for over 30 mins. If the GP is shut or no one can answer the phone why isn't there a line that says this? I'm truly appalled at how awful this GP service is and will be looking to change GPs ASAP.

It's a miracle to be able to book an appointment here. I think they intentionally don't pick up the phone. No response after submitting online consultation either. After a few years of being registered here, today I decided to change the practice.

Thank you to Newcross health centre for promptly arranging my appointment. The practice nurse was very attentive and gave excellent care when seeing me and my children yesterday, good job!

I would like to actually know what is the job of the receptionist there if we all have to do is fill an e consultation form.Yes, we know it is bloody easy to fill in a form but not all conditions are easily explained or easily diagnosed online and has be seen.I take it is laziness. Slow and gloomy. Absolute waste of tax payers money.The way things are ran is just an absolutely joke!

I just want to book a gp appointment. I feel so bad that this system just stopes people for getting the help they need. It's awfull. It's functional if you are a persistent confident person. If not then your just not going to be able to get health care. Awfull digital systems that are convoluted and mascarade as progres. A person with a phone and diary would be a thousand times better than this system wich probably cost millions. I just want to see a doctor!
